Anyone who cares about the team. I'm glad you're a fearless leader, too bad you're not a QB. Wait... are you?! That would explain a lot. Yes. "Magic" came from fans, so yes - directly relevant. Ugh... where did you get this from my post? For the record, I do think Jets will make PO, but I also think Fitz won't play the whole season, Geno will show to be serviceable, and PO will be made mostly on the backs of D. But this has absolutely nothing to do with "Magic".
Never a given no matter who's the QB. Like it or not he gives us the best chance to go farther. That being said I'm looking very forward to see if Geno picked up QB smarts in the preseason. GO JETS
well, brady had to win 3 in a row to capture home field throughout, and he couldn't do it. He lost to Fitz, who won 5. That OT win against the Pats with a beautiful Fitz/Decker lob into the EZ was magic. Maybe you missed it.
God that was beautiful. My seats are 10th row in that endzone. Maybe one of my favorite moments of any game I've been to in the last 15 years (Monday Night Miracle will always be the best). But that just makes me think about sitting in those same seats, that same endzone, against the Bills on Thursday night seeing a WIDE OPEN lane for Fitz to get into the endzone and win the game, but he chose to throw the "what the fuck" pass to Kellen Davis...
Didn't Brady make the playoffs? While FITZMAGIC still doesn't even know how it feels to be in playoffs? Plus when Fitz was needed most he choked. Just like he done his whole 11 year career. Don't get me wrong I hope Fitz takes the Jets all the way but his history tells us he won't. Hell his history tells us he won't make it to the playoffs.
History also tells us he'll continue to start over Geno Smith as long as he can manage to walk onto the field under his own power.
well Fitz had to go one better and get 6 and came up well very small in his ultimate. He was great in the 5 preceding games (beat the Giants yay) , not so great with the jets in FG position at Buffalo with the game (and the playoffs on the line) Lam
Why do you guys continually feed this troll? It brings the level of discussion on this board to a sophomoric level. Only 5 qbs had more regular season wins last year than Fitz. Period.
Yes! I love your attitude. Please lord have the Jets sign Fitzpatrick to a multi year deal. Please please please!!!
So in "Bill's fan perspective on Fitz", you're talking only about recent Jets-Bills history. But in this thread, you're talking about the whole history, not just last season. Which is it, troll?
Fitz beat Brady, denying Brady home field. Both teams were sitting home SB Sunday. Maybe you missed the game.
This time I was talking about his career stats and how they are inflated due to him throwing touchdowns in garbage time against soft defenses. In the whole Jets vs Bills thing I'm talking about how the teams have played against eachother recently. U understand?
Yup. I was at the game in winter snow and cold Buffalo. So windy we couldn't even tail gate! Buuuurrrrrr. Don't know how those guys were even out there that day.
People around here act as if the money that Fitzpatrick received comes out of their pocket. He's still the 26th paid quarterback in the league and the lowest paid non-starting quarterback that's not on his rookie deal. He gives us the best chance to win this year, which is important on a team that is fielding a ton of talented veterans that are entering the near-end of their careers. It's going to be a fun year, boys. Stop fuggin arguing about it. Fitzpatrick is the starter, and Geno is the backup. It's not outrageous to think that a guy like him is in the right situation to put up big numbers towards the end of his career ala Rich Gannon. Like Rich Gannon, he experienced an up and down career until he reached his mid-30s and was surrounded by a plethora of offensive talent. That's it. Stop whining. "We're on to Jacksonville."
Please don't make it more than what it was. It took everything the Jets had to beat the Pats in OT, even though Edelman and Amendola were out that game, the Pats backfield consisted of Branden Bolden (?) and retread Steven Jackson because their starting RB's were out/injured. Their receivers were Rob Gronkowski, Keshawn Martin, Brandon Bolden (?), James White (?) and Brandon Lafell. Ron
