I started watching resident evil series on Netflix. Love the franchise, but the movies have never been good. After one episode I am cautiously optimistic
I finished it, it wasn't bad.. But not great. It's the best RE live action movie/show, watch isn't saying anything. I would watch a season 2, but it was universally disliked so chances are low of that happening. Netflix in general needs to drop the music montage crap. Every show now is filled with songs that take up the entire scene and detail a particular emotion like the audience is too dumb to understand what they are supposed to feel or know what's going on
I just watched Sheng Wang: Sweet and Juicy (stand up special) on Netflix Holy fuck. I swear this guy is the next Mitch Hedberg, minus the heron. I hope.
Absolutely solid. Didn’t interest me until I saw it was directed by my favorite standup comic on the planet - Ali Wong. I’d pay just to watch her eat Cheerios. So I knew Sheng Wang had to be worth a watch. I’m looking forward to more, but I couldn’t help thinking how he’s seems like the type of comedian that Hollywood will ruin by casting a shitty sitcom around him.
Reboot on Hulu was laugh out loud funny to me. Probably more for the crowd who likes a little cringe in their humor.
Nobody is the next mitch. However i will definitely go check it out now Sent from my SM-F926U using Tapatalk
I was pretty ignorant of Ali Wong until a few months ago and my introduction to her was screaming that she "want to be cummed on the face". I fell in love right then.
His delivery is reminiscent of Hedberg and some of his observational humor is really similar, but the overall routine is a lot different.
I love that bit. She’s so fantastically naughty, but that one takes you by surprise. Recently divorced. So, if you’re in the market for a hilarious, super-horny, pretty hot looking Asian chick - the line starts in the Ice Hockey Forum, right below the Ogie Oglethorpe vs. Reggie Dunlop thread.
I've been in Netflix a lot lately. I just got 2 episodes in on Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities and it blows so far. Episode 1 was a complete waste of Tim Blake Nelson's talent. The show suffers from terrible writing and directing that isn't much better. I finished Clark, and all I have to say is Stupid Tommy-Pony. Bill Skarsgård was really fucking good. My only previous experience watching him was Pennywise. Excellent show all around, ifyou don't mind subtitles or hilarious overdubs.
So many good shows returning in the next month. Including but not limited to.. Hightown (Starz) Mosquito Coast (AppleTV) Yellowstone (Paramount) Jack Ryan (Amazon)
Now watching 1899, dropped recently on Netflix. From the creators of Dark, and it has the same vibe but loosely based on the Bermuda Triangle. Reeeeaaaally slow at the start so far.
What streaming music apps do you guys use? I was on Spotify for a while until people started pulling their music from the platform. I've been on Tidal for a while, I like it. It's not as user-friendly as Spotify but it's got a better library and supposedly actually pays the artists.
