I would too but no way Boston does that Would have to swap Artest for Hardaway Jr and add a future pick in 2018 to even get Boston to consider it.
They should've went after Rondo in the Summer. Oh btw how you liking Bargs! Told ya he would be a decent player for you guys haha
Still down 4 after that. The pick 6 helped for sure, but it was far from completing the comeback. Well yeah when you say you haven't seen good Geno, I'm going to point to the good games and plays he had. That's how that works. This wasn't about Geno having the goods, this was you saying you only saw mediocre game manager Geno. The good are another story and are more on what you are touching on now. Again this is back to overall Geno, I was mainly addressing the point of you saying you never saw good Geno. You can say don't care about the few good games because the bad games outweigh that, fine I see where you are coming from. You say you haven't seen the good games this year from Geno, I'm going to disagree. That's how I read the post I originally quoted, maybe I misread it. I agree overall with your points, Geno has been on a downward trend for the back half of the season, but I was initially disagree with the point that good Geno was never there. He was there this season, but more so in the beginning of the season.
Absolutely shocked by him. He seems to found his own as the 5 on his team. Some of his team defense though, oh boy :drunk:
geno is horrific...im not sure why anyone that saw him play at WVU would expect him to be a long term answer
i think the only reason people on here are so quick to defend geno is because hes not sanchez...well the truth is hes just as bad if not worse
I never had the opportunity to see him play at WV but I expected a little better from a guy who played 3 years in college. Especially as the year went on.
That strip sack fumble was 100 percent on Geno. He held the ball to long and had no feel for the pressure coming. He played horrible today and almost single handily lost that game. Interception pick 6 fumble. I have not seen QB play this bad since Sanchez in AZ last year and I think this was worse.
I haven't seen anything disclosed about it. Since he came it the next play, everyone just ruled it as him getting the wind knocked out. The announcer speculated bruised or broken rib at first, but since Geno came right back everyone figured wind knocked out of him
He's a rookie. He's not ready for Prime Time. He wouldn't be starting anywhere else by choice, but possibly by default as he is here. Simms has shown more poise in his junk time appearances; it's time to give him a start - it would be hard for him to turn in a worse performance. Baltimore may very well eat Smith alive and then use Simms for a toothpick if Geno starts.
The Geno Smith ERROR has begun. He looked absolutely atrocious today. And people said Mark couldn't play in the wind/cold? This guy is worse in winter-like conditions.
The strip sack fumble was on the OLine. You can't expect a QB who is about to wind up and throw the ball to anticipate a guy getting through so easily and so soon on his blindside. Most, if not all QBs would fumble on that......the defender whacked the ball out with perfect timing after getting through so easily on Winters. This was a team loss.....the secondary was awful, our coverage on Manuel's dink and dunking stunk....the protection blew....questionable playcalling....awful QB play....special teams wasn't that great.
Geno needs to start every game here on out. We need to see what we have in him. If Johnny Manziel (or another QB MM likes) is still on the board when we pick, we need to know for sure if we should pull the trigger or not. Simms will never be an NFL starter, Geno has the potential but we have to see as much of him as possible so we can make the right decision come April.
