Did he throw three picks with open receivers? Patriot receivers had just as many drops as ours...but Brady didn't throw the inexcusable picks.
NYJ Passing C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RAT. G. Smith 15/35 214 6.1 0 3 27.6 Team 15/35 189 5.4 0 3 NE Passing C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RAT. T. Brady 19/39 185 4.7 1 0 71.0 Team 19/39 178 4.6 1 0 Difference was the INTs, everything else pretty similar. The picks killed us...with that said, if the WR don't drop anything tonight he probably ends up 22-35 280ish yards 1 TD 3 INT (best guess at stat line, but its all coulda and wouldas)
Those blaming the WRs, just remember #1 WR most of 2012 was Gates. No Holmes, kerley, hill, Keller, Winslow. Again, moving on cause mark won't take another snap, but excuses about receivers from the Mark blamers is typical hypocrisy.
Learn how to spell first off. Secondly, go back to blowing Sanchez some more when he is in the CFL next year.
We should be 2-0 with sole possession of 1st place in the AFC East right now. Drops, fumbles, etc, you still can't throw those INT's. Rookie, 5th year, doesn't matter.. You just can't do it. Missing open guys left and right, open your eyes, man. And until the first INT, I thought Geno was alright. Has to throw the ball away, and not stare down his receivers and stare down the field and take those sacks. In a wet game, it could be dangerous. Geno got rattled and cost us this game.
You douch, that team was like a 1 win team the year before. The Jets had 6 wins. One would conclude that the Jets team had more talent than the scabs Peyton was throwing to and being protected by.
Inexcusable picks, one off Holmes hands, one pushing for a comeback in the last minute in the rain. Geno has a lot to learn but you can't kill him for losing by 3 against the Pats in the home opener.
Geno has room for improvement where Sanchez should be at his peak right now. That's the core difference.
You can't argue if we don't make mistakes then ignore the fact TB made mistakes. In a perfect world we beat NE and lose to TB. But in the end we are 1-1 which is good for us. We need to bounce back and beat the Bills. We have 10 days to prepare but Mike and Rex are familiar with each other. Two rookie QBs are going to have the kitchen sinks thrown at them
It was off Holmes hands cause he threw it behind him when he had a step on the defender, that's all on Geno. The last one he underthrew an open receiver too.
Wilson's first game he threw 3 picks. RG3 threw 2 picks monday night. Shit happens. If we had any WRs that could catch for a damn we probably win. That does not excuse his play, but when you have a rookie, you really cant afford to suck elsewhere and expect the rookie to do well and to win.
Thought he played well ,the Kid has a future ,needs to be a bit more mobile ,nearly led us to a victory over the pats ,dropped balls cost more than the turnovers ,the guys learning ,it will come in time IMVHO..
