Our offense was as bad as NE Patriots...Can you believe that? Yet we had no luck in turnovers and we lost some serious momentum in that first INT. Damn ti
Bad throws by Geno. I hope we get more insight if it was the weather or he just needs to work on those. The last one looked like he thoigh Hill was coming back to it, but he wasn't. The clear part he needs to work is those fly patterns. He gets a little too much air underneath. Besides the INTs (Sanchez had 4 in his first game at NE so stop talking about him and just talk about Geno) his other throws were on the money and in good spots. He got some bad drops, he got some great catches too. I wonder if it's the weather that affected him on this similar INTs or just something he's not confident doing (letting it fly on rope down the sideline)
Will you Sanchez guys just stop living in fantasy world? He makes the same mistakes Geno did tonight except he can't complete a screen pass - and he's a 5th year player.
What about how ivory was averaging 5 yards a carry but we barely ran the ball....not knocking the OC because i like him but 4-5 yards a carry y not keep running it
Who the fuck cares what Sanchez would have done anyway? 1) He's hurt, so it's irrelevant. 2) Geno is a rookie. Rookies are expected to make mistakes. It's not a big deal that Geno Smith made some mistakes. It will be if he doesn't improve and learn from them as his career progresses. Guess what, Sanchez has been at this for 5 years, he hasn't learn from nor improved upon the very similar types of mistakes Geno made tonight.
No one is saying Geno didn't make mistakes and part of the loss is certainly on him. We're trying to talk sense into these Debbie Downers who use absolutes to push their "Suck off Sanchez till Death" agenda.
You mean when Sanchez threw into triple coverage or how about the time he threw into Quadruple coverage. That's right he threw to a guy that was covered by 4 people. Geno is a rookie who won a game by 3 and lost a game by three. If Gates doesn't drop a ball into his chest in the end zone Geno is 2-0.
Good luck with that.. Sanchez guys just won't let it go. I wonder what they're gonna do when Sanchez is gone next year. Still whine about it I suppose.
To me it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. Geno misfires when there's open receivers, Sanchez throws into double coverage and chunks screen passes. You seriously could get better QB play from all 31 other teams than either of these two clowns (provided Henne plays over Gabbert in Jacksonville).
I just find it hysterical that people are now blaming the lack of weapons and being a "rookie" as defenses for the way Geno played. While I actually agree, it's still hypocritical as these same people refused to acknowledge the deficiencies as a reson for Marks failures. This offense has warts and they extend way deeper than the QB.
