    Lets put it this way - if Brady threw that ball, would it have been a fumble?

    I am not going to say that it definitely should have been called fumble or not.


    But I will say DBJ is wrong the ball can land behind the QB and be an incomplete pass, it is only a lateral if the QB intentional throws it behind the line of scrimmage. If the QB's arm is moving foward n an attempt to pass when hit by the defender it is incomplete no matter where the ball ends up.
