Wow. Tough crowd here. I checked your board. Not bad at all but I don't think you will be able to attract folks. People go on message boards for a specific aim. This board is a Jets board and people sign up to discuss Jets. Other sections of the board are used minimally. Go to a Yankees board, it is the same. Or go to Movie themed message board and you will only see movies discussed as main topic. Everything else is secondary. In your site, you are trying to combine multiple things at once and I don't think you will be able to attract people. Good luck though. I hope it gets better for you.
Thank you for not being a jackass lol. Yeah I get why boards typically don't work this way but the goal here is to establish something where it's not based around any one fan base, like the whole point is that there is no primary focus except for entertainment media in general. The reason for the name, which I'll admit isn't great, is that I meant "entertainment" as in pieces of media as opposed to just "being entertained". But yeah, attracting people is tough, but I have had several members join during the first few days and hope to continue growing. Thanks for the advice tho.
Yeah. There are some animal rights activists rioting and need to keep them under check. You are welcome but folks who replied to you aren't really jackasses. One by one, each one of them are great posters. Stay longer and you will see. Also reach out to Petrozza, who is the founder of this board. He can give you a few pointers about technical stuff.
