That might be true, but regardless there was NO REASON for Keller to immediately go out of bounds when there's no one near him. He could've gotten 7-10 more yards at a minimum before going out of bounds.

His whole career? This is his 3rd year....

First year he was a rookie and had a great season.

Second year he had a rookie as a QB and didn't get many opportunities with the insane amount of rushing attempts.

Give him some time, he is very young and is constantly getting better, he came into the league a pitiful blocker now he is extremely serviceable.

He has the work ethic and the talent, it'll all click soon Dustin is good.

There was like 40 seconds left in the game. Also his own momentum was going to take him out of bounds anyway. I'm sure if the marker was in the right place he would have at least tried to stretch it out to get the first.

Even if you want to stretch it and blame the yard marker dude, it still looks like he was short of the stick.

if chinstrap edwards doesnt studder step and instead gets set, keller has the best catch of this game. of all the things that went wrong this game, keller not getting that yard is way down on my list

Yep. That play epitomized the frustrating fiasco that was this game.

I don't think he was short of the stick, but Keller should have moved the ball in his left hand to get an extra yard in any case or atleast stretch it out even if you are 5 yards beyond the first down line. You are talking about an extra yard that could win the game for you when you try a long FG.

I haven't seen anyone mention (media or online) maybe he was a bit woozy after Sanchez had lead him right into Ray Lewis just before that.

Not meaning a concussion, but when you get the hit like that even if your fine it might jar you enough to make a mistake in the short term.

The penalties and play calling killed the Jets.

How about for underrated boneheaded moves, they run LT a few times in a row, only to then call in Greene who's terrible at receiving, and then throw to him..which he drops..which leads to third and long.

    115 yards and a TD.

3rd year is breakout year for receivers.

He's such a weapon in the passing game with a LB or smaller CB on him, let's hope he can keep it up.
