As an independent voter who thought both Hillary and Trump were garbage candidates, the one thing that Trump had my full support on was "Drain the Swamp". It is most disappointing that his appointments indicate that his intention is really to "find anyone and anything that has ever been in the swamp, and use those to backfill the swamp with some more extra swamp".

First off, the college does exist to provide a buffer between the voting population and the selection of the president.....as the founders did not trust the population to make the right choice.
This is a fact.....it is not 'bunk', as you call it.

Whether or not you feel Trump is constitutionally qualified or not is besides the point.
The electoral college could choose not to elect him, which is just one point of many as to why the college is an antiquated bad idea to have in place. You are telling me you are fine with that, and would be fine if Trump doesn't get in office as a result of this?

As an independent voter myself, I felt it was obvious that nothing was swampier than Trump himself.

You can't expect a morally objectionable swamp to be cleaned up by an even more morally objectionable Populist.
He's predictably just making it swampier imo..

an oil man with ties to Russia as Secretary of State?
a climate change denier to head up the EPA?
a racist and divisive pot stirrer as his chief strategist?

Throughout his campaign, Trump lied more often than any candidate ever. He made Hillary look like Abe Lincoln and that's saying something. So there was no reason to believe he'd drain anything. The one constant was he was a douche, and predictably that hasn't changed.

Sorry, but it is impossible to lie more than Hillary Clinton.

I could prove you wrong by posting a list of Trump's lies. But it would probably crash the server.

You mean how Hilary and her merry band of the mentally ill demanded that Trump and his supporters accept the election results?
We don't have to imagine that hypocrisy.

Its funny listening to the ant-gun left left talk about succession from the US whilst threatening armed revolution.
The irony really does escape them.

Mother Jones. Oh my god. Ten years ago or so somehow my wife got onto their subscription list, we lived on a shared driveway and that rag was misdelivered to one of my neighbors. I'm sure he still thinks I'm some kind of smelly commie hippy.
