This is a very good example of good game management, I bet if you reverse the situation, Bellicheat would do exactly what you highlighted. The interception that was dropped by the Giants safety is another example of opportunities that they did not capitalize on. That's why I said Bill does not do anything that no other coach can't do. It is not Bellichicken and Brady, it is Brady period. Bellichicken is nothing without Brady. Bellichicken stunk for 5 years with the Browns, was 6-10 in 2000 with the Pats (with Brady on the bench), and missed the playoffs in 2008 when Brady got hurt. His record without Tom Brady starting stinks.

Going against another team, I would agree with that strategy. When you are playing against a guy like Brady you don't try to settle for FG, you try to go up by 7 Even had the Giants ran the ball all 3 times, they would have still have to give the ball back to Brady with over a min left. That is plenty of time for him to get his team into FG range. We have seen him do that so many times.
