Fields is not close to a sure thing. Please tell me why you think this way. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
Tua went 6-2 his rookie season. He didn't look great but the dolphins have no top tier skill players on offense yet. People forget that going into this season, about the same time Watson signed a contract for 156 million dollar raise, we were having legit debates about if Darnold was better then Allen. Great QBs don't win SBs. Great teams win SBs.
If the situation in Houston is that bad then they might want to forget about hiring McCown and make Kaep the HC.
For the #2 pick to the Texans this year. This offers a cap tight Texans to get a QB of their choice in the draft (bar Trevor) That's the appealing part of #2. For Houston to play ball they need a new QB option more than 4 mid first round picks for example. Our next 3 first round picks including this year's #2. This leaves us with 2 first rounders in the next three years and whatever we can get for Sam. I wonder if we can get a '22 first round pick for Sam instead of a 2 this year. Which QB would you rather have based on their stats last year? QB 1: 64% completion 6.3 Y/A 11 TD 5 INT QB 2: 59% completion 6.1 Y/A 9 TD 11 INT QB 1 was a rookie and QB 2 was in his third year.
People mentioning the Jets somehow getting Watson for two first rounders are lost. It’s going to cost 3 first rounders plus and any offer less then that will be laughed at.
Because I know football and you don’t. Kidding aside, he was phenomenal against Clemson. And he is highly regarded by my QB guru @legler82
People stating this are the delusional ones who think you’re getting a top 5 QB in the league whose 25 for two first rounders. It’s a moronic offer that would never be accepted. Watson will cost minimum 2021 first rounder #2 overall, next years number one (the Jets one) and 2023 number one. Minimal. And people trying to imagine that only two number ones gets it done because one is #2 overall are lost.
So are people that think Houston would agree to pass over the Jets 2021 high draft picks. Houston will demand both firsts this season and probably our 2nd. If we want to keep either pick 23 or 34, they will want both firsts next year. 2023 wont even be on their map.
very true but they'd have to realize the value of 3rd overall and they have no reason to sell the farm either since they did draft tua 5th overall
your way too smart for me to have to explain why the 2nd overall pick is worth so much more then the 23rd
Made a video about this the other day. I’m all in for three 1st round picks. Wouldn’t pay much more than that if at all.
In 2020: Chase Young - 2 Keneth Murry - 23 In 2019: Nick Bosa - 2 Tytus Howard - 23 In 2018: Sequon Barkley - 2 Isaiah Wynn - 23 Number 2 picks improve teams dramatically. The 23rd pick becomes more a crap shoot.
