#2 and all of the Seattle picks. Make it a 2 vs a 3 if you must.

If 1 first rounder is holding it back between us and Miami getting him, give up the 2023 1st on top of 3 of the 4 within the next 2 years. You can still move Sam for a #2 this year.

Yup and I’d go as far to include the giants 3rd

then we keep 2 and trade that for a kings ransom

You mean the pick they used on Ashtyn Davis last year?

In that hypothetical scenario which is far from guaranteed (regarding Fields) if Watson play as he has the past few years (top 3 QB in the league) I would still say well worth it!

You do understand the 12 year age gap, right?

Rodgers will likely do the same thing Favre did and lend his services to the best suitor with a championship ready roster for a year or two to try to win a SB and stick it to the Packers (especially for letting McCarthy hanging around for as long as they did).

The Jets need a quarterback to build around, not one to play for a year or two and leave.

For what it's worth, the 2008 Jets are likely SB contenders with an aging Rodgers over Favre.

I’d take ARod and still draft a QB like Lance/Fields and let him learn the game. Way more of a chance of success out out the pick/prospect

The absolute MAAAXXX is one of 2 Deals!!!

you offer these 2 deals and they can take their pick.

    #2 overall + #23 overall

    or

    #23 overall + #34 overall + 1st 2022 (Sea)+ 3rd (Sea)

Anything more than that Watson won’t have anyone around him and fans will be crying he was fools gold and we are fucked for the next decade. I think we are underestimating what #2 is worth... It literally could be worth 3 1st rounders to a team like the Saints, Indy, Chicago, Washington who are playoff teams that just need a FQB on a rookie deal.

well we will most likely never know what conversations JD will/may have....I think from what we’ve seen from JD already, I’d bet that he would explore everything....he’ll take calls, he’ll make calls. We’ve seen that both with Adams as well as his draft maneuvering.

However, I don’t think we’d ever know what offers were made...he’ll never divulge his hand.

No one will shed a tear for a team losing games. But the Texans started their season off playing six playoff teams in 9 games.

Overall they lost by one score to the Titans (2x), Colts (2x), Steelers, Browns and Vikings. Mind you that's with the leagues 32nd ranked defense in rush yardage and turnovers. 30th overall in yards and 27th in points allowed.

His supporting cast? 32nd in rushing yards (that's with him adding 444 yards himself), and he lost his top target in Will Fuller due to suspension. OK. Cooks is ok and David Johnson was decent enough as a receiver (both in and out of the lineup as expected). Tied for third in sacks allowed.

Rodgers says no 100 times out of 100 to coming to this team in the present state. I could realistically seeing him finish in San Francisco with Shanahan or maybe he wants to try to bend the Packers over like Favre did and goes to the Bears.

Three firsts and a second. I'd prefer to sub Darnold in for the second. I'd rather try to preserve the 2023 pick and get them out of the way so we can continue to retool as he hits his true QB prime at 28-29.

If you watch the Texans it's quite easy to see just how bad that team is. The only thing comparable between the Jets and the Texans is their record. Their OL is terrible. Weapons are a wash IMO. Our defense is better. Our OL is better.

The #2, Seattles first in 2022, our 1st in 2023. I'd like to grab some pick, any pick for Sam, but I'd happily toss him in the trade as well if need be,
