Watch Torrey Smith the rest of the season. He is going to have great numbers...then look back at what he did v. the Jets.

    mark it.

He's overrated for not signing an OL when he's drafted well, and done well in FA, and has made great trades to help this team?

    Let's stop the reactions.

Gurode was out of shape an no one knew he was going to turn it around and play well again. He lost out to someone with the same pedigree as a Colin Baxter, so I its easy to say "sign him" when its hindsight.

In Gurode's defense, the guy who replaced him in Dallas also can't snap a ball to save his life. You put that in the fact that he's hearing voices calling phantom snap counts out from across the LOS, and I would say the Cowboys really gaffed on their decision to cut Gurode.

If the Jets defense played against the Jets offense it would look eerily similar to the beat down the Ravens defense did.

The defense will be there. Will we give up big plays? Yes. It happens to the best defenses. Our worry is the o-line. If you look at the steelers they are in a similar situation. Even with big ben, with no o-line, they can't do anything. Look at the ravens vs steelers game week 1.

I figured we'd be 4-3 going into the bye, but still have a legitimate shot at the division title as the schedule softens up after the bye.

Between the injuries, awful blocking, and poor run defense, we could be worse than 4-3 going into the bye. Here's hoping they fix something in time to give the Patriots a throttlin'!

The only reason the defense played well

is because the Ravens abandoned the run. Look at the drive in the third period. We can not stop the run, period.

thats cool and all but the D did play good for being on the field for so long. The runs late in the game were gaining yards but we did force a fumble and prevented them from scoring another point.
