I see a lot of love for DRob in this thread, although I agree he has been playing better, I have also noticed Moore is getting more and more snaps. I especially noticed a few big drives early yesterday when DRob was on the sideline next to Mangini. Maybe the less reps are helping him as the game goes on. Unfortunately, still not worth what he is being paid IMO....

weve been playing a lot more 4-3 no? seemed like it to me

  3. The percentage is about 70/30 between D rob and Moore's playing time. D rob does need a breather now and again...and also the chaneg up offers a great change of pace for the OL to deal w/. I'd say that D rob has outperformed Moore as he is alot better laterally and does a better job of collapsing the pocket. Moore is no slouch as a back-up however.

You are exactly correct we started out in a 4-3 formation in the beginning of the game and in others and have switched back and forth during the game; I love to see every body up on the line and just scaring the shit out of the opposing Quarter back. We forced some early throws from Carr causing incompletion’s. That’s pressure.

love the D's improvement. i'll admit, i was harsh on D-Rob, but i also said we should try moving him to DE. maybe he's found his niche, which is great because obviously, we want success.

so if D-Rob is part of the long-term now, will he be expected to take a pay-cut, because how many NT's really make that kind of money?

i think with Robertson, Moore, Tui, and Pouha, we should have enough bodies that will allow us to target another position - mainly, DE and OLB (i.e. Lamarr Woodley); but if we don't want to pay D-Rob that kind of money he's getting for playing NT, then we'll have to find someone else. anyone know anything about this?

    cheers
