still gonna have to pay for a top CB in the draft tho...and it will be one who is unproven. Your not gonna geta stud at 28-32 (assuming we do good this year)..then u gotta give up picks to move up

How long are you going to go before you admit you can't give me ONE guy who was dealt with in the manner you're proposing?

You are not getting what he said. Even if revis sits for 3 years, he still owes the jets 3 years. If he sits for 6 years, he still owes the jets 3 damn years. I m pretty sure that's what he said, anyone care to confirm?

Not true Nacho, we can trade for one & get one that is dependable, that's all Rex needs to run his defense.

Which is it? Did he fail to make 1 comment, or did he say he can't feed his family? The two are mutually exclusive.

Why wouldn't we just re-sign Cromartie?

excuse me.... He made 1 comment at the beginning of the offseason that 1 million is not enough to feed his family, then has given NY the silent treatment for 2-3 months after faking his injury

Good luck with that. I guess we'll just have to see what wins out in the grand battle of idealism v realism.

    There isn't.

I have no issue with that.

You asked about two guys.If we owed Mevi$ a 9 mil SB like T.O. was owed that would be different.

the real question is, when are you going to admit

That there hasn't been a holdout with less leverage then Revi$?

lol how is it idealism...Basically ur train of thought states that Every star play who holds out over money gets traded..

SO lets put a call into every pro bowl player at end of year and tell them to hold out because its basically guaranteed by you that they will get traded eventually

hope the Lions, rams, and browns best players hold out next year so we have a chance to get them

Hahaha. When have I ever disputed that the Jets hold considerable leverage? That doesn't change the way business is conducted in the NFL, Mother Goose.

We aren't talking about the Jets holding considerable leverage. It's actually all the leverage.

We were talking about Mevi$ holding zero leverage...

What an absurd overboard extension. They don't all get traded. Some sign new deals, some return before the season. All I said is no one has ever held out like this with multiple years and been forced to play out his contract. Why not dispute that?

Well, that I certainly disagree with. His level of play accounts for something. Not much leverage, as we see right now, but certainly something.
