pull the contract offer. tell him he can play out the other 3 years of his current contract or sit for 3 years, unless he can be put on some list like " did not report, needs anpother 12 million to feed grandma, unofficially retired to accept an offer from wal-mart"
guys i also believe they are going to reach an agreement and he'll be in there week 1.....I just can not seeing him miss games, the guy loves football and the jets know how valuable he is......
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (11 Days Until MNF) Impossible. There would be grievances filed all over the place. Plus if Revis signs it means both sides sign a mutual agreement. No need to get personal because of business. Fuck revis
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (11 Days Until MNF) I'll believe when I see it. The kind of deal Revis wants the Jets can't provide this year, IMO. I hope I'm wrong!
hay guize my bro is the assistant clubhouse attendant/ junior laundry operator at florham park and he said his boss Billy told him to rewash Revis's special jockstraps and underarmour shirts and put them in his locker so this clearly means revis is coming soon
lol this thread brings some laughs to me ill tell you this much....recorded the game and im watchin it since i got in from the gym......gholston looks good and holmes and the offense is going to be a problem when he gets back man........ rnough of ian eagle and revis can not cover holmes...i love the guy but theres no person revis can not cover on the eastern hemisphere
the jets should not cave at all they should bring revis into a meeting and flat out tell him we have offered u a huge contract that is more then fair, you can either sign the contract or be prepared to take at best the next 3 yrs off the jets should never trade him because they cant get fair value back, 1st round picks r nice but revis is the real deal and id rather have his rights then a possible bust this will all be settled tho soon i think as revis has no real leverage
Whats this shit Im reading from Yahoo via Rotoworld that there is an "imminent divorce between revis and the Jets"
According to Yahoo's Jason Cole, Darrelle Revis relationship with the Jets is "ticking toward an end." "A divorce, really," insists Cole. "That might sound like hysteria to some but it's reality." Revis is apparently adamant that he won't show up "ever again" if the Jets don't substantially increase their long-term contract offer soon. The Revis camp obviously has Cole convinced, but let's keep in mind that this is the height of saber rattling season with the season opener on the horizon.
