    I'm with you Blue.

I will note though that the TEAM is harmed already And IMO Revis is a ### ### ###### #### Punk no matter what happens.

    Agreed.

I haven't taken sides in this whole thing but if he misses any games this year, Revis should be out.

I agree with everything you wrote except I would be ok with it if the Jets and Revis worked something out after 2-3 games of holding out.

I agree too. Once he starts missing real games, everything changes. If he misses the whole season, he has to go.

Really? You think Crazy Al Davis has a brother out there that owns an NFL team, that will not only shell out multiple picks, but also approx a 60% premium on a CB ?????

Revis, under his current bargaining position, is not tradeable.

By seeing the shit that is going on in SD with V Jackson (same agent) and the fact that they are looking to trade him, I really don't see Revis coming back by Week 1 unless he gets the $$ he wants. If he misses more than 2 Weeks then is time to talk trade. But the question I have is....Who the fuck is going to pay him 16M a year? Not only that who the fuck would want to trade for a guy that has been in the league for 3 years and has already held out twice?

If he's not around by Week 2 then fuck em. Thats to much value sitting around not doing shit. Trade him...get a CB and draft picks.

Who knows whats going on behind the curtain. If he is asking 160/10 then obv he would settle for less. The Jets are offering 120/10. Just split the fucking difference pay him 14M a year and lets go get it. Unfortunetly its not Madden and much more complicated.

Shame of it is everyone here loved 24 not just cause hes a hell of a player but also because he did it humbly, with a quiet confidence. Truth is...no matter who the player...in the end...its not the team, the talent, the coaching, the trophy...its all about the $$.

I mean I def. couldnt feed my family if I only made 12M a year.

If the team refuses to move him, and then refuses to re-negotiate with him Revis has no alternative.

It seems no one wants to grasp that.

(P.S. you should go back and see some of the responses when I said that originally...Ship his ass to Oakland....)

If he goes this year it will obv. have a great effect. But Rex has won in this league without a shut down CB. Makes me a bit more optimistic

I'm very confused. I had no idea we had a Jet Blue and a JetBlue posting. I'm guessing in our arguments in the past I have gotten you two confused?

Heres a stupid question tho? what is his trade value?

is their any team out their that would pay what he wants? I don't think any team would be willing to pay what he wants. Therefore no team would want him?

    is my logic correct?

The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (Revis Tweets w/Whore)

He wouldn't hold out a second year, and his demands would likely come down. You're nuts, though, if you think he'd play for his current contract. There's an incredibly slim chance of that happening this year. There is no chance of it happening next year. Nice dream, but it's not how things work.

See, your problem is you think the team would ever refuse to renegotiate with him.

More than correct. The team wouldn't just have to give up a fortune AND pay him his trillions. They would also have to take on the headache of all future negotiations and the threat of future holdouts. Scary.

If the team refuses to trade him, or re-negotiate he has zero choice in the matter.

I'm not saying they intend to do that, (it would be piss poor publicity) but those are facts no
matter how much you wish otherwise.
