He was once a rookie at number 2 and Wilson isn't as far behind as he was at the time.

I asked Manish in that chat thing if he read anything into Woody saying "it's not done til it's done". My question was rejected. I guess since that quote came from ESPN they wanted no part of it

I could see a high scoring Week 1 game actually. Which 2 guys know how to gameplan better against the Ravens/Jets defenses than the guys who created them?

i think he has no idea what is going on. they are obviously in contact though.

they need to get revis present in these talks. i hear he just has his jerkoff agents talking, and revis hasnt been spoken to by tanny/rex/woody in a long time.

The only thing is, if you look at the performances of past season-openers by Rex Ryan defenses, they have been tremendous. I would buy that Baltimore has a good idea how to gameplan against Rex Ryan but I would also imagine Rex Ryan has a great idea how to gameplan against Baltimore.

One thing I would love the Jets to scream in Revis's ear if they ever actually get to talk with HIM (not his dipshit agents):

"Hey Darrelle, the two high-profile players in the NFL who are currently being represented by your fagboy agents while also currently looking for new contracts are both in danger of not playing football OR collecting gamechecks for at least an entire year. Does this tell you anything about the quality of representation you are receiving?"

Which is why his agents won't let him go to the meetings.

The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (status unknown)

Yeah, that's a huge problem with the situation. I doubt the FO has had any contact with Darrelle for quite some time. Everything is in his agents' hands, and they're keeping him from talking to anyone. I'm guessing part of the reason for that is so he doesn't decide to be a team player and come back for less.

Agents are paid to look out for their clients. They don't have to care about the teams, but these two take that responsibility to the point that they actually hurt the teams their clients play for. It's irresponsible for any league that emphasizes collective well being like the NFL.
