Don't know where they're getting this but between innings on the Mets game the promo for an SNY show later is quoting Woody as saying "he doesn't expect to see Revis in a Jets uniform any time soon". Misquote?
Really..you have a source for that? My thinking is this...Interceptions are generally a function of a teams willinginess to throw at you... Hall and Joseph are o.k....they are not Cro/Wilson, or even Mevi$-Lowery... (in the context of the other 9 they play with)
Personally...I hope it's fucking true,.. Right now Tannenbaum needs to reach out to the other 31 GM's and say.... I'll kneecap these bastards and sit on my player...you guys find a way to trade me up some MOR players for draft picks. win-win.
Hall and Joseph aren't "OK," they're good. They're very good. Of course, even though the seemed to be the best cornerback tandem in the league last year, I couldn't possibly compare them to the Cro-Wilson tandem because I've never seen the Cro-Wilson tandem play an NFL game. To do so would be pretty silly of me.
Not sure if this is even worth it but.. I promise I'm continuing 2 do my job, check sources, give u everything I've got. Sides continue to talk. Good progress. Deal soon. http://twitter.com/DanGrazianoAOL/status/22128315817
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (status unknown) We're not talking total defense, and we're not talking Revis. We're just talking the corners we have now. None of that is relevant. Revis makes us the best. And I'll get you a source when I'm back home.
I gotta tell you something dude...I come on here for breaking news and very rarely comment...but you invest a lot of time arguing with people on here...it's gotta be tiresome for you...
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (status unknown) You know what would be even sillier? To insist pairing them with Lowery and Coleman makes them better than the Bengals.
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (status unknown) LOL. That's why I have to leave for periods of time.
Well, we did play each other, Hobbes. Revis sure did hold Ochocinco to 2 for 28, but let's not forget that Braylon Edwards caught the same number of passes for 15 yards. Blame it on the rookie if you want, but I'd argue that in January of 2010, Carson Palmer and Mark Sanchez were quarterbacks of equal quality. That's a quality cornerback tandem in Ohio. There's no way around it.
