It was finished an hour or two ago and sent to HBO at 2:30. At least that was the schedule Sabol gave in his interview this afternoon.
it can be fed out via fiber or satellite or post it to an FTP site and have it added in... I work in the industry, they can easily accomplish this without having to actually hand deliver the tape
He was asked if could be changed and he said no. BBBBBut..there are 8 minutes between the end of HK and when it is repeated at 11...what can happen in that 8 minutes? Who knows, they belong to HBO.
It can be changed before the first airing, up to about an 90 minutes prior to air... I do this for a living
In the 10 minute preview to HK they specifically said they could and have added footage up until an hour before it airs.
Which is why I can easily imaging simply adding a 30 second clip at the end along the lines of "this just in". They can clip from the original final 30 seconds or something to make room
an hour prior is really pushing it, it needs to be encoded to a server, so figure its 48 to 52 minutes, that doesn't leave much room for error... so for most networks, rule of thumb is 90 minutes.. just sayin
See now this can happen... it's separate from the actual show, a one minute spot... easy to traffic and can be added while the show is on the air
You do but they can't. It could have to do with their contract with HBO and how many HBO people have to review it before it goes on the air. Like I said he was asked that and he said no it can't be changed once it is sent in.
What I meant was they could show an interview, make an announcement, anything they wanted in those 8 minutes..now they show Boardwalk Empire commercials.
Guys this is no movie script Revis signing isnt goin to show up at the end of Hard Knocks as a surprise.Stop hoping so much cause you are all going to come on here boo hooing after the show is over if you think thats the case.Just let things work out my guess is right before regular season.
Since Cowlishaw went silent on Twitter, I sniffed out his live chat today. Here's what he had to say about Revis: That was about 5 hours ago. He hasn't been heard from since.
You are so right. I never thought of it like that before, and I don't think any of us have. We should all be more like you.
Relax, no ones hoping... I'm talking about logistics... the reality is it wont be on this show no matter what happens today... logistically it could easily happen...
At least Cowbell is willing to man up and not be a dick about it Woody saying "its not done til its done" still has me intrigued tho
