If you constructed your sentences properly, he'd be better able to understand them. I read the quoted sentence. The placement of the dependent clause relative to the pronoun very much leads one to believe that you are claiming to be his business manager. Are you sure it's Mr. E's reading skills you want to question?
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread Bam!!! Just dropped a serious English lesson. Lol Back to English 101 for me. Lol
Unless that was meant to be taken as sarcasm (which is nigh impossible on the internet), I have no idea what you were trying to convey there by calling yourself "his business manager". Unless you are Geiger, which I'm willing to bet that you aren't, you might want to make your comments a bit clearer in the future.
Revis needs to be willing to sacrifice a little money for the team and a chance to win a Super Bowl... You see guys like Lebron and D Wade sacrificing in order to win a championship... In comparison, the Jets are just as stacked as the Heat so Revis needs to come with the same mentality... DONT BE SELFISH... You'll ruin a great thing.. To win ANY battle you MUST sacrifice, at least a little bit!!!! EVERYBODY used to be in LOVE with Revis.... Its so funny how fast everybody turns on him!! He definitely lost a little bit of my respect, I didnt think he was selfish like that!?!?!
Besides all this pointless talk... Has anyone thought of this scenario? We sign him to a one year 16 million dollar deal? We get him signed, in TC, and can worry about the contract later, and also know more of the CBA agreement later....
What do the Jets get from that exactly other than setting a precedent to any future players, "Hey, if you want a raise, we'll just throw more money at you and not lock you up long-term at all. All you have to do is hold out!"
I think Revis's agents are devisory as proven is all of their past dealings with the Jets. I don't think this will have a happy ending for us .Unfortunately I just have this feeling we will see him playing this season and a very awkward off season next year which ends up in some large trade in Feb/Mar.
