oh, misunderstanding. I wasn't poking fun at your grammar, rather just implying that there wasn't anyone on the grassy knoll, whatsoever. MY post was irrelevant either way.
Well let's not get into that debate. It was a lame attempt at humor on my part based on the rampant speculation here about AV guys and HBO ratings conspiracies. Figured I would through another one out there.
Goddamnit I hope this is true. The only reason I'm holding on to the possibility of this being true is what Peter King, Mort, and Shefty are saying about this guy. Strange people do break stories sometimes...Steven A. Smith and the LeBron thing, Kirk Herbstreit broke the story about Saban to Bama and everyone shot him down. A week or so later, he was right...
Its funny you think that - I've been thinking that myself. If Clowney keeps getting pushed down the chart for WR, there must be something wrong with his WR capabilities. Is it his hands? Route running? Play making? If that's the case, someone with his speed should look into being a CB. Its a bit different but the fundamentals of being a CB are similar to WR. Its just a matter of knowing a route vs reacting to a route. Definitely food for thought. (I just had a flashback to Johnny Lam...)
Clowney is not a good route runner, so I'm going to guess that his speed doesn't translate well to a corner back position. Case and point- Drew Coleman's speed means jack shit.
I think theres a lot of signs pointing to this being true. For everyones sake I hope it is and at a reasonable price.
The most optimistic thing I've heard so far: "Stephen A. Smith tweeted Bosh, Wade, and Lebron would all sign in Miami long before they did and it was quickly shot down...it turned out to be true" It seems like Timmy C is in the same boat.
