We lost because the Colts #2 and #3 ripped through our defense.

Yes, but that much is true for anyone.

I hate Coleman as much as anyone, and I get frustrated as hell watching him play, but at the end of the day, when I calm down, I remember he's our #6 with Revis. Injuries would hurt us just like they hurt anyone, but really, can you name a team with a better #6?

I still can't believe the Jets would let an out of town source scoop on a Revis deal if one was coming. They've got bridges to build to the people who cover the team and letting the big story come in via Dallas is a no-no.

The news blackout is a factor, but you have to take care of your beat writers or it's going to bite you in the ass eventually.

Does that mean there will also be no press conference?

I've maintained all along that Revis will be starting week 1 against the Ravens. My gut tells me there is something to TC and his source and that where there is smoke there is fire. I just find it hard to believe that a Dallas reporter would go out on such a limb without having a pretty good reason to do so. We'll see.

Sorry I think it shows that the 2 of them have no contacts whatsoever within the NYJs if TC info turns out to be correct. If TC got the info from outside the NYJs FO then for sure those 2 get F's for not properly doing there jobs which I am sure they get paid to do.

It seems as if TC's source was an HBO source that is totally independent of the Jets so that they didn't "let" any out of town scoop happen. The jets were upholding an agreed upon blackout. If there was a leak through HBO, thats not on the Jets. If the beats are pissed off, they should be pissed at HBO not the Jets or Mevi$.

Yes he is. Have you not heard his name numerous times over the last 10 years or so when talking about the NFL?

The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (continued) (Cowlishaw twitter rumored deal done)

Bingo. This doesn't reflect poorly on media relations at all. I'm guessing if this is true, the Jets and Revis's team are figuring out how to release it and lift the blackout.

Haha. So THAT'S how he's going to make the team. I'll bet he'd have 4 INTs in the preseason.

Well we know Revis is friends with Deion and all... Could be that Revis tells Deion , Deion tells Cowlishaw, boom.

That theory has been theorized already.

We can all try and guess his source for the next 30 years, but I highly doubt we'll ever learn it.

Just pray that it is correct and we can finally move on.

Maybe it was a Nike executive now that I think of it though.
