The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (Cowlishaw twitter says deal done, others disagree) At this point, I don't see why they'd wait 3 days to announce the deal. If a deal is done, he's in camp tomorrow.
I'd like to believe it is true, Cowlishaw has a rep to uphold and he seems very confident from his source. PLEASE!!!!!
Can't do it today, its Favre's debut. Can't do it tomorrow, Chris Johnson is on Monday Night Football, can't do it on Tuesday, because L O S T is coming to DVD so Tannenbaum will be busy. Has to be Wednesday I guess.
well maybe he could be in camp -- meaning a deal is done -- but without announcing the specifics of the deal. maybe? just hoping, like everyone else.
Well, given that being the Hard Knocks team is stupid in the first place from a competitive standpoint, I don't see why the Jets wouldn't play along with a little show promotion. It's entertaining as hell to watch the Jets on Hard Knocks but the show does nothing at all for their chances to win it all this year.
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (Cowlishaw twitter says deal done, others disagree) Apparently you're unfamiliar with the HBO rule that spots us a 10 point lead in every game this season. Championship!
Again, if it's true the Jets would look really, really foolish denying it all week and then announcing it on Wednesday. You know everybody in the front office will be asked 100 different ways about it as soon as they can reach them.
Not so fast ESPN's Adam Schefter disputes a Twitter post from Tim Cowlishaw of the Dallas Morning News that claimed Darrelle Revis was close to signing a long-term extension with the Jets. Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger agrees with Schefter. It appears Cowlishaw's Twitter account may have been hacked, and he's not a reporter. The Morning News columnist has no track record of breaking major news. Aug. 22 - 4:31 pm et Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
