Imagine, they get him signed and keep it on the D/L, and then during the last Hard Knocks, Ryan goes around for curfew and Revis is in his room n shit...
That was my faint hope for the first episode. It was almost a letdown when he wasn't there, even though I knew it was beyond unlikely.
I agree with this speculation. It is also heartening to know Revis and Bart Scott exchange texts. You know after watching Hard Knocks Revis wants to get to camp badly.
Truce? hmmmm... Public opinion has strongly gone toward the Jets organization in the past few weeks. The Revis camp had the opportunity to watch "Hard Knocks" and see what they look like in the third person POV. The best news here is that it seems a truce would only be proposed by the Revis camp. Maybe this means they think they are losing this battle and will throw in the white flag soon.
when revis signs he shouldn't tell anybody and just come on the field sprinting during a play and pick 6 right in the middle of practice
Yeah yo. And then we would se Ryan make the only football play of his life. His adrenaline would be so jacked he would catch up and just lift him in the air
*blank stare* *silence* "Huh...I just saw Darrelle's new commercial..." *silence* "It's pretty funny..." *silence*
I think this will be the case as well, I lost all hopes yesterday but after Rex his press conference and today's joint statement I think we're right on track again!!
That would be an amazing ending ... God I hope things work out, to say I actually miss the guy out there balling the fuck out on each and every play This is it here, Revis camp is vulnerable now we must strike a good deal that makes both parties happy
per Bob Glauber twitter I never thought of this...Glauber is right.....the Jets don't want to set any crazy precedents with how they handle this situation. Man, Tanny has his work cut out for him....no wonder he was pulling his hair out on Hard Knocks last night.
After all this crap, they better put something in the contract to keep his highness from pulling this holdout crap again a few years down the road. I just don't trust Revis anymore.
When the Aso deal was made, my first thought was Revis. And now look what this has come to. Same with Tommy Kelly. Davis made him the highest paid DT, and he's somewhat good player. I thought about how that fucks up everyone else. Al Davis may be a pioneer and all of that shit, but its all pre-2000. For the past decade, he's been total shit and fucking over every other team. The end of his legacy should reflect that.
hahaha...fair enough. I probably did, Alio......but my outlook on this situation is so exhausted....I don't know which way is left or right anymore.
Revis Needs To Get To Camp Asap Because The Jets Would Just Be Lethal With Him In The Lineup. We need to cover all our bases on the field
LOL. My favorite part: "Woody Johnson of Johnson and Johsnon Baby product, and you know he got f-ing cash cuz there a lot of babys out there" He does do a good job of summarizing this thread.
Agreed. Between the Hard Knocks show and this team being a favorite to go all the way, it's not exactly a favorable time for a player to be holding out for unreasonable demands. If the Jets and Revis succeed on their mission, Revis will make up the $$ difference in endorsements anyway. His agents can't be THAT stupid.
