At this point I'm very disappointed in Sam's play and disgusted. I can't believe that he just threw the ball up for grabs twice and didn't have sense to just fall with the ball when he saw that rusher coming free. We can't give up on him, however, unless he just gets shellshocked the rest of this year and loses whatever confidence/mojo he had. We have to fix the OL first and foremost. Hopefully then with better coaching, Sam will learn, grow, mature and develop more mental toughness. Even if Sam proves not to be the answer at QB next year, hopefully we'll at least have a better OL to protect whomever we get to play QB in 2021 and can hopefully at least run the ball. I'm not sure I'll still be around to watch or care, but at this point, that's about our only hope.

They didn't get beat 1v1 like against CLE. They just could not match the protection calls to the blitz. That's on the QB unfortunately.

  3. Yes.The patriots have the best OL coach ever who quite often including tonight has made complete scrubs off the streets look like a high performers. Go back & look at some of the names pats have started at OL year to year. There are some good ones but almost as many “who?”. The patriots will pour resources into their OL but talent isnt even close to the biggest reason for their success.

The guy already retired once,Pats OL stunk for 6 weeks tilll they lured him out of retirement & the beat goes on.He gets paid well, has all the autonomy he needs & just enjoys living in New England..Hes turned down massive offers from other teams.Nothing can do but wait out him retiring again.

Just another rabbit’s foot for a team that literally nothing goes wrong for.

I have a feeling the "Butt Fumble" game will, in time, now be replaced by the "I'm seeing Ghosts" game.

we all “like him” but he’s getting shell shocked and playing schoolyard football

forgetting all the mechanics and reads and just throwing it up.

Very very disturbing. This is what a QB looks like when they don’t trust the line and or plays and or receivers - and most disturbingly, themselves

    He’s possibly being broken

    by the whisperer

Scary shit. We may have ruined another....

I watched the Cardinals sack Jones 8 times on Sunday with a B DL with the exception of Chandler Jones. Nate Solder looked like absolute dog shit. He was a top 5 NFL tackle when he was on the Pats.

Anyone not questioning Sam right now is deluded. Its not just one bad game. He was rattled the whole game and couldn't get his shit together. That's a very bad sign.

But where was the coaching. He continually bounced every drop back. Where were the coaches telling him to stop the happy feet? He continually threw off his back foot. Where was the coaching correcting him?

    What a meltdown.

Yes, it is true that they have the best o-line coach in the game. That means every other team doesn't, so they have to address it a different way. Better talent.
It still boils down to the line, the line, the line.

This is one of the reasons they brought in Kalil. He was supposed to take some of that burden off of Sam.

Didn't Khalil play like a quarter if that? Don't remember when exactly he left.

Not until he snapped the ball over Sam's head.

That experiment has been a total bust. Why don't we just hire Mangold to be the Centers coach so he can teach someone how to do this shit.

How did you think he looked last week? The bipolar bullshit from this fan base is just tiring.
