Its the new swagger Rex Ryan created. The crap talking and on field smack talking has done wonders for our team and fans.
The great thing about this is that it's only going to better louder if we keep winning. If we keep playing the way we have been playing, those unpurchased season tickets are going to get sold fairly quickly. I'm so pumped.
It's a funny thing about our crowd. They have gotten a lot of grief over the years for being on the silent side. But any Jet fan who went to 1998 playoff game against the Jags will tell you (I was in the 27th row), the Jets fans can be rabid. Giants stadium can be as loud as any stadium in the league. What happens is NY crowds tend to be a bit nervous because of all the pressure and hype on the games. When Jets fans show up and have something to cheer about, they are as loud as any fans in the NFL.
Thanks to everyone at the game. From home it seemed as though the crowd really made a difference, especially with the Delay penalties. Good Job !
great to read this thread. just got back from the game, my voice is completely shot, but this is one hell of a feeling. stadium was absolutely rocking today, amazing.
From watching the game on TV it seemed really loud and I said to my son thismis the loudest I've heard in years. It also appeared that most of the crowd were on their feet for much of the game
I can't even talk right now...my friend and I didn't even want to leave we were so pumped. I also caught the post-game on the big screen where Rex said he was giving the game ball to the fans. That's awesome
I am one to criticize the Jets fans at home, so I will also give credit when they show up and they did today. Great work. I expect it to be like this from now on, especially if we keep winning. It was awesome to see (and hear) today. The crowd literally was a factor and caused NE penalties.
Let's keep up the good work! We need the crowd again next week against the Titans. Woooooooooooooooooooo.
It was so crazy. And as we were walking out everybody was high fiving each other and just going nuts. I've had season tickets since 2002 and I think thats the loudest I can remember it being. Great game.
I was just talking to me neighbor who is a JET fan ...he said his middle speaker blew out and went static on his surround sound with the JETS PATS game today!!! Thats what im talking about.
