For me I would take both Bridgewater(Who I loved out of Louisville but I also understood he could not be the 18th pick for the Jets with the amount of needs that clouded and still cloud the team) and Bortles over Geno if your talking about them being prospects. I was not on high on Carr or Manziel or Savage though Carr has impressed me this year given what's surrounding him, especially watching very few snipets vs the Chargers this past Sunday. Honestly, Carr's done very well given the head coaching change and how bad that team is. Did not expect him to do this decent so soon.
Do you realize if you take into account drops Flacco is at 70% and Luck is at 72%? Stafford at 68%? Ryan 69%? Wilson 71%? Do you know who has some of the FEWEST drops in the league? Brady, Peyton, Rivers, Brees. Why is that? Do you realize WITHOUT drops Bortles is at 68% and Teddy and Carr are at 62%? Go enjoy your fake 60% completion rate. _
Carr is a better physical talent with a higher football IQ--and he's a better leader. IMHO you put those guys in the same exact situation and Carr wins more games. Teddy is even better. Just my opinion. _
Look at how Carr played against SD and how Geno played against SD on consecutive weeks. On as woefully inept and devoid of talent offense as ours. _
LOL! You used Freeman as an example and that's exactly why I say to keep drafting young QB's until you KNOW you have the one. The Bucs did not know they had their franchise QB. It was looking good for one season. You KNOW when you have a franchise QB. There was absolutely nothing Geno did last year that said we had our guy so why we didn't draft one of the many good QB's from this years draft is beyond me. It sure would be nice to have that rookie QB on the sidelines right now, one who we can start prepping to get on the field. Geno is a waste and so was the Boyd draft pick. They both suck and they both relied on superstar receivers.
Whoa whoa whoa what about those phenomenal last 4 games?!? Second highest QB rating behind PEYTON FREAKING MANNING!!! _
