52% of his passes completed. Nothing earth shattering in terms of performance. Couldn't take advantage of opportunities when they presented themselves. Sounds just about right for a below average backup.
Congrats to who got it right... Kellen officialy sucks... I did like the playcalling for a change though.
he didn't kill us against a shit team, which is a good thing, but I sure son't want to depend on him down the stretch
I was going to post much the same... we got what we needed out of him. Hopefully we don't have to count on him for much longer though.
Clemens progressed as the game went on, and did what he had to do, which was manage the game. Early on, he was floating balls, overthrowing them, etc, but made better throws later on in the game. He had no turnovers too, which is always a plus.
In Thomas Jones' press conference he just said "Hopefully Kellen will continue to get better each week." Do they know something about Mark that we don't? This was after Rex said we "expect him(Sanchez) to be ready next week"
Atlanta is a better team than Tampa (who isn't?) so we're def. gonna need better QB play next week. Atlanta has a pretty weak secondary, hopefully Sanchez can take advantage. I still want a run heavy gameplan tho
I hope that was just Thomas spitting out regular football platitudes and not an actual concern of his
