Hello all...since Champ (aka BIHW...they are the same person for those who don't know) won't answer I will shower you with my knowledge. ;-) Oh and Merry HannaChrismaKwanzika to you all!!! 1) Who should the Jets target in free agency and why? I'll leave this one alone as I need to see how things shake out in Jan and Feb. 2) Who should the Jets release, whether via trade or other means? If a trade, what sort of value do you see us landing for the given player, and what is your justification for trading him? I see Pennington being traded...his value is a 3rd rounder...while not the strongest wing he can still win...I see KC as his eventual landing spot... 3) What are some areas for improvement in 2008? Offensive line is my number one target...we need to draft a road grader or two. Pick up 2 more in FA for competition. It is a sad state of affairs to have waited over 3/4 of the season for a lead RB to get a touchdown. QB...we really need to see what we have in Clemens and he needs to get a fair evaluation with a decent line and some receivers...which leads me to my next one, receiver. We need to draft or bring in a stud receiver. What's TJ who's your mamma's contract run...I can see him in green and white. Just a couple of thoughts... 4) What is your roadmap for dealing with the O and D lines. Right side of the O-line needs complete overhaul...we NEED road graders...You know, the D-line is OK...you all are down on d-rob but he's playing alright...BUT, I'm not too far gone to realize we could use a fat ass in the middle...I also want a playmaking end (maybe d-rob here with the addition of a fat ass). The D has been playing very well and I just hope it carries over to next year without the need to "re-tool" at the bye...funny how that is... 5) What sayeth you about Mangini's obsession with "character" players? I like the character player obsession. At the very least your team isn't distracted by some a-hole who goes to Vegas and gets someone shot...or drowns dogs as a past time. 6) Draft 2008, who are your picks and what do you see them bringing to the team? I want Jake Long or Darren McFadden in the 1st....Long will help stabilize the o-line and/or McFadden...hey you can never have enough at the RB position. Glenn Dorsey goes here as well....he would allow us to move D-rob to the end position of which I think he would excel in the 3-4. Ellis Sedrick is also a name I wouldn't mind seeing called if Dorsey is gone. That's good enough for the 1st round... 7) Which members of the coaching staff stay and which ones go? Who do you see us making a run for during the offseason? Personally....Bob Sutton gone...Ryan in! enough said! We can't keep waiting til' the Bye to have the D play top notch. I've gotten wind that Mangini let Sutton do his thing and had to intervene at the Bye...the Head Coach cannot be burdened with having to deal with the subtleties of either side of the ball...that is what the damn coordinator is for! This thread shows how pathetic this site is!!!! This is a direct attack by multiple posters on someone yet no action by MODS!!! It is in direct violation of multiple GG rules yet no Bannings??? No wonder all the original mods have left their positions. This has nothing to do with the Jets!!!!!
