Ever since he became our QB, Chad has been an inspiration to me. How many people around the league expected a QB coming off two shoulder surgeries to put in a performance like that, especially with no CM?

What a great way to return to the N.F.L. I never had any doubts. He is a leader even more than a Q-back. All the darksiders can go back in their holes to wait for Chad to make a mistake. Again I say, Chad will lead us to the promised land. Allentown Ernie.

Forget about Carson Palmer. Pennington may be making the comeback of a lifetime.

It was more that just a win and a good game for him....it was a statement. It was "Here I am, I can still do this and be great, and whoever said I was finished can "F" off."

I know its just one game and we need another week or 2 to really tell but if this third coming of Chad Pennington holds up with good performances, then to me, today will be remembered as the re-launch of his career, and boy did he ever make a statement.

Top ten excuses the haters will make:

    10. It was against Tennessee

    9. Offense always has the advantage in week one

    8. Did you see that fumble?

    7. The receivers had a great game

    6. Defenses haven't figured out post-surgery Chad yet

    5. He didn't throw a 50 yard TD pass

    4. Did you see that fumble??

    3. His release still isn't as quick as JWN's

    2. He's still gay

    1. :breakdance: :breakdance:   :eek:hmy:

He played great today but next week will test him alot more than the Titans did today.

Its only ONE GAME folks. Enjoy it but lets not put unreasonable expectations on Chad because of day 1. If Chad is still playing at this level come game 8 or so, then yeah, put him up for Comeback Player of the Year.

Waay to early guys.. There are still 15 games left to play.....

you played the team with the 3rd pick in the draft. that means, in terms even you can understand, that they were WORSE than us last year!

save your super bowl reservations until after he plays the fins, pats, and bills. they won't be so easy to beat as the titans. they have much better defenses . and, he lost another fumble today on a blitz. why the titans didn't do much more of that is the reason why they lost.:shit:

he played against a team worse than us, who threw a guy in at the last minute to start. wait until the pats, bills, and fins play us before you jump to any conclusions. btw, another fumble on a blitz. bet the pats and bills won't give him that much cushion to throw.:shit:

He still beat an NFL team today and was the best player on the field. And according to you, his arm wasn't strong enough to throw a 15 pass against any team. So admit you were wrong. He may struggle against some teams this year, but so does every QB. Delhomme had a bad game today. Palmer did nothing through the air. Favre stunk. So did Bledsoe. For that matter, Culpepper was awful on Thursday night. Are they all bums? Is Palmer through?

He had two 1st round picks who helped him have time to make those completions.

That goes out to champ, Smokeeater and all the other linemen haters!
