Turns out Idzik didn't have a CB slated high in the draft. He took a long shot at a kid who even if healthy was questionable at best. He had the opportunity to make a trade for any number of 2nd stringers from any team. There has to be a few who are better than what we have fielded. He has a staff payed to find talent. He has a coach who should scheme to use the talent we do have. I think the play of the defense has been better than the roster may suggest. In the end, it's the other side of the field he dropped the ball on. No offensive talent. You can't win if you can't score.
Lol what a joke. The Saints are one of the few teams with CB's even worse than the Jets and they cut him. I think that is a pretty good sign of exactly what Champ Bailey has to offer at this point.

Yep. If I had a choice I'll take Dee. Not because of he chose the Giants over us. I don't care. The only signing I hated was Revis. The press said that Idzik couldn't pull the trigger on a deal or make a decision. There were rumors that he outbid the Giants at the last minute but was turned down. Not sure if that's true. If so then they're right: he couldn't make a decision. I tend to believe he just felt that DRC wasn't worth that kind of a contract and didn't want to overpay. Esp when he thought there was adequate talent at the position.

Patterson made no sense at all. He was an injury prone scrub who is primarily a backup in previous years then Idzdick decided to turn into a starter. There is a reason why he is still a free agent. The guy is garbage and the only team dumb enough to sign him was the Jets.
Clearly Allen, and that should be obvious. The Saints defense is absolutely horrendous, especially their secondary. If they still wanted to cut Bailey considering that, he clearly is useless.
