Yeah that's what I meant. Without dwight being Dwight nets can beat the knicks in a series. The only bad thig about Howard is late in games hack a Dwight can be successful

Lol so many conflicting reports. I think this deal falls through. Either it happens by tonight or no dice.

That's what I've seen as well, looks like the Nets are f'd, I think the Clippers would have been all over it. They unload dead weight and get Brooks out of it. Fucking Cleveland. I heard Charlotte may be next to be approached.

Nets should flip Brooks for another first rounder and Orlando should stop being pussies and take Hump.

Is it possible the Nets could take both Turkoglo and Richardson? I doubt it but if possible that may be an option.

Hump is severely underrated. If they were smart they'd take lopez hump and 3 first rounders.

They've gotta get at least 1 back court pressence out of the three pickss while having. Solid 4 and 5.

Im ready to roll with this roster as is. Maaybe get another rebounder in.

    Also keep brooks.

Get a low seed plyoff appearance. Shop lopez for a good swingman after thiss year if dwight doesn't extend with other team

My big fear is that the Lakers do swing in and nab him and he decide to extend. Thank goodness Bynum has decided against signing an extension or I think Howard would already be in LA

Can you blame him? Why would he want to go to Orlando? They couldn't put a winner around Dwight, how would they around him.

At least if the Magic can't trade him now, I bet they'll take hump lopez and whatever they can get mid season

Tho id imagine they desperately wanna end the dwightmare before the season starts

Is 10% or 25% the threshold for salaries (ie if you trade 10 mil you need to take in 7.5 or 9)? If its 25 I guess you can trade Howard (19) Turk (11) J-Rich (6) for Lopez (13) Hump (9) Brooks (1.2) and then some combo of sign and trades to make it 27.

They have to end it now. Dwight has all the talent in the world and when he's happy he seems like a great teammate but when he's unhappy he's as cunty as one can be.

I do have a fear that the Hawks trade for Howard and then push very hard to get Chris Paul in free agency at the end of the season. They have the cap space now because they got rid of Joe Johnson.

Most of the time yes. He was able to do it effectively for 3 games last year.

From this afternoon it looks like ATL or HOU might sweep in and take steal Dwight? If the rumored packages are what is being discussed, Rockets and Hawks offers are more enticing than BK

the last year better be a team option

we need to pair brook with an athletic, defensive minded PF ... hump and lopez is not a championship front court

billy king should offer a first (either ours or houstons lottery protected) and marshon for taj gibson

the bulls need perimeter help after letting watson, korver, and brewer go and gibson is a rfa next year ... we need the help down low and wont shy away from paying the tax to keep gibson next year

    rare win-win trade

    Wrap it up...party is over

#Magic GM Rob Hennigan basically said If B.Lopez gets 4-$58M or 5-$78M contract from #Nets that there will be no deal for Dwight Howard.

    Chris Sheridan ‏@sheridanhoops
Breaking news: #Nets are out of Dwight Howard sweepstakes. They will keep Brook Lopez, and probably Kris Humphries, too.
