The situation has just gotten ridiculously out of hand, especially with the media. Have any of you checked out the Favre tracker that SI.com have today? They're literally following the guy's every step; they even talk about his flight pattern for God's sake. I'd rather hear about Manny Ramirez then more of this crap

say what you want about him and his performance the last decade, even at 38 he's still a 1000% improvement over either of our current QB's.
of course this just has all the makings of the Pack using the Jets' obvious interest to get the Bucs to raise their offer... Every day this franchise becomes more and more like the homely girl at the prom who'll put out with anyone in the hopes that she'll be accepted.

Chad has a better playoff record this decade than Brett and Chad has played in the much tougher conference. Brett has 3 home playoff losses including losing at home to the 8-8 Vikings led by daunte Culpepper.
We shouldn't think the Redskins aren't still rubbing their hands together. Fish too. Just because they're not mentioned, you can't count PArcells and Snyder out of this until he officially signs somewhere.
The NFL Network stuff that some are reporting here is complete BS. They haven't remotely said that and the only stuff they've played is an old report.
I hear you but I am not sure mostly mediocre is fair. Pack made playoffs 5 of the last 7 years. One of the years they missed they could not run the ball at all -- and the defense was bad. Again -- we are not getting Favre circa 1994 -- this is 14 years later -- but depending on the deal -- he is still an upgrade. KC really showed nothing -- not even flashes (at least to me). Chad is just too broken down to be effective (although hed be better this year with a line).
Favre isn't stupid, playing in the NFC south were 8-8 can win you a playoff birth. Playing the Falcons twice, Panthers twice, Saints (got better on paper) compare that to the AFC east, where 12 wins *might* get you in. If i'm Favre, i'll be considering those factors.
