    Because it's probably worth far more than $20 million? If Favre doesn't come back, he is probably trying to make sure the Packers finance the rest of his life.

    ESPN NEWS reporting from Green Bay: No trade imminent. The Pack and Favre working on marketing deal to keep him retired. That by tomorrow or the weekend the marketing deal could be finalized and announced.

    Unbelievable.....Espn just reported that they think they may have a deal worked out in the next 2 days with this. The guy was all talk about wanting to play again and then he broke my heart:shit:

    i don't even know if i want him here 100%, but if he stays retired, i'll be pissed. we could have done without all these ridiculous Favre updates and headlines.

    If he takes a marketing deal, and stays retired, Favre is a POS, money grubbing scumbag. If this was all about money, and he caused all this trouble for nothing, that would tarnish his legacy more than playing two years with a team other than the Packers.
