Would you really be surprised? Both players can go to teams where they'll get the same or better money and they won't be disrespected (moreso to Braylon who offered a discount).

Listen the damage done the last two days could very well be irrepairable but I'm still holding out hope. A little smoozing from sanchez and rex and you never know what can happen. Then again maybe the jets don't want to bring either of these guys back who knows. The thing that would be the most damning is all the lost draft picks. A 2010 3 and 5 and a 2011 2. Hopefully cooler heads prevail here.
but c'mon, if he really loves being a JET , he would sign. Its that simple. Theres no reason for him to feel hurt because he knows how this negotiations go during the FA period. Im sure Tanny and Rex made it clear to him that hes isnt number 1 right now and that if Aso doesnt sign, then they'll sign him. And Jet Management isn't loyal. They've shown that over and over again. This loyalty thing is a two way street. The way they cut T Rich last year during camp. The way they basically want LT to play for free this season. The way players in the past claimed the were lied to... They aren't loyal, to a fault.
