Jason Kendall apparently landed a good punch on Jeff Karstens in a bench-clearing brawl in Pittsburgh on Monday night.
Matt Holliday just hit a grand slam in the 7th to tie the game against the Twins. 13-13 in the 7th. 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th and counting. The Twins had led 12-2 in the 3rd.
after the grand slam, the Twins went to the bullpen again. Mijares was brought in to face Cust, who promptly went deep. 14-13 and back to back
That cost the Twins the game. Anyway, the Pirates are up 5-2 on the Brewers in the 4th. They have 4 homers off of Suppan, including two by Ryan Doumit. Braun has homered for the Brewers. Every run in the game but one has come from the home run. Suppan had only allowed 13 in 105.2 IP coming in. And PNC Park isn't exactly a hitter's paradise...
I don't know where Oriole fan's are getting the notion that Roberts is dogging it. He seems to have been hustling the whole Yankees series. It's just interesting to me that the fanbase is turning on the one guy that's stuck with them throughout shitty season after season and done nothing but bust his ass.
I didn't know they turned on him. Anyway, I was watching the New York Mets fail miserably tonight on ESPN (odd thing was, they were wearing Red Sox uniforms), and I saw an advertisement for MLB.tv. They said that you get "over 100 out of market games a week." False advertising. Blatant lie. I hate when companies get away with falsehoods.
Yeah, it's been in the balt. media that he's been dogging it and such. I don't know...I always thought he was a gamer.
you mean why is it a blatant lie? There are less than 100 MLB games a week, let alone over 100 out of market games (that would presumably ignore your market, subtracting some games each week).
