As a Met fan, let me tell you that it's not easy to blow that big a lead this late in the season.

    Oh ..... wait ......

    Never mind.

Fuck this shit, Lowery was thrown out at second, CLEARLY, on a throw down by Navarro. Then of course what happens? Pedroia, doubles him in.

Brandon Phillips is out for the year due to a faulty finger. He is a member of the Reds.

Also Longoria will be back soon and Dickerson has a sore ankle.

Cakes, let me know when my letter arrives.

The first two games of this weekend’s series between the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros have been postponed because of the potential impact of Hurricane Ike.

Allright Triple Header!!!! Actually it's pretty serious that this hurricane is hitting Houston. BTW don't know if it's been mentioned already but the Texans/Ravens game has been moved to Monday night.

yeah, I posted that in the NFL forum earlier.

The Astros were on a hot streak. Sucks for them.

Unusual to not be playing on Friday night and Saturday.

This sucks for the San Jose Vagrants.
I might lose in the semi-finals because Derrek Lee, Mark DeRosa, and Aramis Ramirez are all starters on my team and they won't play much, if at all, for the rest of the semi-finals round of my playoffs.

Unreal. I did not lose any weeks in the regular season and easily took the 1 seed. Now my team may lay an egg in the playoffs.

Twins -330 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) lost 3-2 to the Royals in 10. They were my Survivor pick, if anyone cares. Maybe the biggest upset of the season if you listen to Vegas and Accuscore (which had them as 77%, by far the highest I've ever seen).

White Sox -124 lost 6-4 to the Blue Jays (all 10 runs were scored in one inning. Amazing)

A's -124 lost to the Rangers

Giants -116 lost to the Padres

Indians -113 lost 6-3 to the Orioles

Mariners -113 lost to the Angels

Brewers -112 lost to the Phillies, 6-3

10 games. 7 underdogs win. This guy betting all underdogs is cleaning up.
