How is it different than Idzik not drafting a QB higher with the crappy rookie season Geno had? or why didn't Rex bench Geno sooner. I can't give Marrone credit for doing the obvious.
Is it sad to be excited to hear what Fatcesca has to say about Marrone once he's hired? "Dis guy quit on da Bills and suddenly he's Vince Lombaaardi?" "What a joke! an Absolute joke!"
Seems like it which will piss off fans even more. Woody just can't get this thing right. He paid some morons to find Idzik, talk about money wasted. Now he is paying two ex-GM's to give him cover to pick a guy like Marrone. Might as well make a show out of it and have a Wheel of Candidate. Vanna I would like to solve the GM/Coach search.
Watkins is better than any receiver we have had in 2 decades. This draft class for receivers was one of the best and we got none of it. Shows you how clueless Idzik and Marrone were/are. Watkins lit up our receivers with a 150 yards on 3 catches.
Don't know but I think that Manuel probably had a lot of FO support so maybe it wasn't obvious to everyone.
This I agree with. Not picking a receiver given the need was beyond stupid. I mean even a later rounder like M Bryant is going to be outstanding
Geno was a 2nd round pick not a 1st rounder like Manuel. Plus Idzik got blamed for that too by Mehta and the bashers who always tried to take Rex off the hook. They said because he was his pick he forced Rex to start him. No evidence of that and we never heard Idzik's side of the story.
Yeah I'm not feeling this love affair with Marrone. Losing record with Buffalo and nothing exciting from his tour with Syracuse. So what exactly is the thing that is on his resume that has Woody getting a Woody for? You're telling me he is better than Dan Quinn or even Kubiak?

Geno was good value where he got picked. Manuel was expected to go later than when Buffalo took him. It could have easily been reversed it was just how the draft fell and what teams had on their draft values board.
I look at it differently. You don't quit on your people. You stay and earn the respect of the ownership and make the choice difficult for them. If he didn't have that free 4 million for 2015 I bet he would still be there.
It's amazing how much you think you know about the coaching search. Like you've got a backstage pass.
Dude, how could you respect that? He demanded an extension when he hadn't yet earned it, and when the owner (rightfully) said no, he decided to pout like a child and quit on everyone in the organization. How is that professional, or even mature?
The guy wanted some security for his coaches and himself. I've got no issue with him wanting job security with a new owner and rumors of a front office shake up on the horizon. I wouldn't want to have that hanging over my head . I believe it was a ploy on his part to see the commitment of the organization to him and his staff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For all those who want Jameis (not me). Do you really want another FSU Qb. And a guy whose a turnover machine in college. Plus a problem off the field and a possible real bad apple.
