That is a puppet mentality. You have a brain, try it out. You might be surprised what comes out. Just following the herd and going along with whatever is being said out there in the world is non-sense. There are a lot of people that think Casserly is a joke in the NFL circle of life. It's not like he is someone that every talks highly about, the people that do talk well about him are people he has known over the years or his fellow Media buddies that he has worked with. When you start looking at the things he says and his overall body of work, to me, It is not impressive. I think he is a very uneducated NFL insider, I don't think he truly gets the way the NFL is run in today's NFL. This isn't the NFL of years past anymore, it's evolved, I don't believe Casserly has.
Well he's not building the team though - he's helping pick the GM and the coach. Did you disagree with his choice of Dom Capers for the first Texans coach? It seemed like a logical choice given his previous experience with the Panthers expansion team.
do a little research see what schecter and especially KIRWAN AND POLIAN say not you or that bills troll can grande
So does Jerry Jones ... and both men won them with someone else's players. Casserly's track record as a GM is one of terrible performance and an overall dearth of talent the longer he stays.
I do research on a regular basis.. I am a thinker, I like to draw my own conclusions based on the collective information that is in front of me, instead of relying on a bunch of "experts" to tell me how to think. Did you not read my post you quoted? I don't care about what other people are saying, especially since they have worked with the guy over the years. Do you really think they are going to talk badly about him? They are biased. Like I said, try coming up with your own conclusion. I am willing to bet you would value you it much more.
If you're saying what a great coach Rex is you're gonna hear the whole story. And this isn't Mehta made up bullshit. If I'm Atlanta or the 49ers and interested in team image it's the first thing I ask him. And there's plenty of other stuff this is just the worst. And you guys are questioning Morrone's character.
I understand and I'm fine with it. People don't react well to negativity. I rarely post and usually only read. I've rooted for the Jets for almost 10 years. I'm from Erie County. My brother and all my buddies are Billsfans (except one who follows the Rams). I know a fair amount about the Bills because that's all they talk about. Anyway I get it that people have had enuf of my schtick so I'll go back to reading others posts. But I probably won't be able to resist posting about 6 games into 2015 when the stuff starts hitting the fan (assuming we hire that dufus Marrone). All the best to my fellow Jets fans and here's to a great 2015 (I hope).
people are not questioning morrone's character just why the hell would yuo rush into hiring a coach before you even interview all the gm candidates? I would rather wait 5 days and see if we can get de costa and pro0ceed from that point forward there are what 5 vacancies? atlanta 49ers bills chicago NY Jets and what 5 hot candidates morrone rex bowles riech 3 people from the seahawks the oc, dc and cable so we can wait we should end up with a good coach either way but I would rather get the gm first
Huh? Have you ever been to Erie County? My guess is no, you never have (not that you should want to). It's all Bills blue here dude. I get it all season long from then, now I get it from a clown like you. Try posting something interesting for a change.
I don't see much reason to be excited about Marrone. He seems adequate, but not spectacular. I just hope we don't abandon the whole process, just to bring Marrone. Yes, it is good news that another quality candidate is available, but it is important to get the BEST GM and coach. If we talk to several candidates and go with Marrone, fine. Let's just not jump and the first shiny object we see.
Didn't Herm do the same thing. He asked Woody for an extension (but after a poor season) and after Woody said no he resigned to take Chiefs job. We got a 4th round pick. Morrone had it in his contract. If new ownership he could opt out and still collect his 2015 salary
I know a handful of Bills fans myself. Most of them are not happy he's leaving but there was one who was adamant the Bills success had nothing to do with him. I don't know how you can watch a team go a decade without a plus .500 season and then give no credit to the head coach when you finally do, but whatever.
I don't remember what other coaches were available beside Capers, so I would be lying to you if I gave you an opinion regarding the HC. But I did see your reply with Stokes opinion of DM and I was surprised. Harsh words, I don't know what to make of DM.
In all fairness, foot fetish ranks on the freak scale somewhere between missionary position and latex body suit. It's not even in the weird shit category.
