Edelman has FANTASTIC hands----Berrios does not. He can be on teh roster but to compare him to Edelman is wayy overboard
Berrios has been in the league for two years. This past year he had 374 yards and 3 TDs in a shitty Jets situation. Edelman had 359 yards his first year with 1 TD. He then had 120 yards and 0 TD in the next two years combined. The following year he had 235 yards and 3 TDs on the season. It wasn't until his 5th year with a HOF QB did he break out. Also Edleman has a higher drop percentage than Berrios. Berrios has 3 drops this season. Edelman had 13 last year and 8 the year before that. Both years with a higher percentage than Berrios.
Lmao I just realized you are claiming that Edelman has fantastic hands. You do realize he has the most dropped passes in the NFL since 2018? He has had problems with dropped passes his entire career
This is not about the future, but rather the past. I don't know where to put it, and this thread is as good as any. I think you guys will enjoy this.
dude slow down. Edelman might have a higher drop percentage but he has a million times the targets......If youre arguing with me who has better hands, youre absolutely out of your mind. Weve all seen Edelman make a ton of great catches....in huge spots
Why would we want to replicate it, if we already have it? Short of finding someone better he should have a spot.
Makes sense that they go after Thuney to then have at above average to average offensive line. Alex Lewis shouldn’t be a starter and Van Roten isn’t that great.
Neither Lewis nor Van Roten should be back. However I’d resign Eiflein. People are watching his play and saying he’s holding down the spot & not being a liability.
Damien Woody and co have said Eilfien should stay. He’s looked good. I thought McGovern had been the weakest of the OL. I’d go for a center or RG this draft.
[/QUOTE] JFM is an amazing pickup by JD. Something to think ——— JFM, Nathan Shepherd, Foley Fatukasi and Kyle Phillips all came out of the 2018 draft and post draft FA.
He struggled early. He has been very good since game 9. RG we need, and I think that Elflein is probably better as a backup rather than a starter.
The number of catches is factored into the percentage. His drop percentage is higher relative to the number of catches. That's the purpose of that statistic. And Edelman has made a number of amazing catches but he is also leading the league in dropped passes over the past three years. He has had issues with dropped passes almost his entire career. You can find article after article year after year discussing his issues with dropped passes and how it has been a concern for a long time. From 2013 to 2015 he had a drop percentage of 9.6%. He dropped 31 passes which was by far the most dropped passes over any other WR in the league at that time: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si...-worst-hands-julian-edelman-leonard-hankerson And here's many more to boot: https://www.google.com/amp/s/patrio...asses-that-have-troubled-him-this-season/amp/ https://www.radio.com/sports/nfl/no-player-has-dropped-more-passes-than-edelman-since-2018 https://www.google.com/amp/s/musket...ops-are-starting-to-become-a-big-concern/amp/
