Welcome back, champ! Yeah, Darnold's tenure in New York did not go as I thought it would!:mad::mad::mad:

Still, I am optimistic that the Jets are headed in the right direction. :)

I am excited to have Zach Wilson as the Jets' QB of the future, but I do still wonder about the Back-up QB position. Ideally, the Jets would sign someone who can mentor Wilson but also play if he needed to. Even start the season so Wilson doesn't have to be thrown into the fire. I don't know if that QB is out there though. I thought maybe Nick Mullens. I know the Jets brought Brian Hoyer in for a visit, but he would be purely for the mentorship role.

It's not your father's fault you never took the hour out of your day to teach him how to use a keyboard.

well having no talent and a clueless coach did not help Darnold. Would have been nice to see what Darnold could do if the Jets did him righty and not a bunch of clueless fans wanting to get rid of him because he is no longer a shiny new toy.

We didn't want to get rid of him because he's no longer a shiny new toy. We wanted to get rid of him because he sucks. He was the worst starting QB in the NFL last year. He's been in the NFL for 3 years, working with the same QB Coach since he left USC and never fixed his inability to read Ds, his decision making, or his lousy footwork which leads to his inaccuracy issues and TOs. Those are things he should have been able to fix on his own with his QB Coach. The fact that he hasn't doesn't speak well of him. I believe the truth of the matter is that he was way overrated, and that he doesn't have the football IQ to succeed as a QB in the NFL.

As for being clueless, the only ones who can lay claim to that title are the ones who can't see what his issues are, and wanted to keep him and not draft a QB this year.

In the end we have Zach Wilson , so I’m not complaining . Looks like he will have every chance to succeed. To say Sam sucks when it was the polar opposite, that is just nave man . It’s like when this very same fan base we’re whining bout getting rid of Chad Pennington ( I will never let this go. Still pisses me off. A huge reason I call the majority of New York fans dumb asses. Just like how they booed no and Jeter . Then wanting to shit all over the 2021 Yankees. How is that working out retards?). Well Chad only goes to have an mvp season with the Dolphins. If we kept Chad , we very well might win the super bowl. Ugh I still wanna throat punch them idiots. Moral is to sit down, shut up and let the players develope, play and let coaches coach. Cause loud mouth fans know shit. All you do is case players away and make ny undesirable.

It really does feel like the grownups are finally in charge. I should know better, but I'm feeling positive about the direction we are headed in. Fingers crossed. All us die-hards deserve it.

The Pro Football Network already has a 2022 mock draft out LOL. They have the Jets taking LSU CB Derek Stingley at #6 and Iowa State RB Breece Hall at #23. I’ve never heard of Hall but he’s referred to as a “do it all” RB and a dangerous pairing with Carter in the write up....

Bout to go to bed after all this 3 day excitement ..yes I believe we have turned the corner with GMs own HC and an Offense that just got power pumped in the Draft

On NFL Network 2 out of 3 analyst say the Jets have fit the Scheme perfectly for Wilson to succeed with both protection and offensive weapons:D
