Unfortunately it's a little disconcerting rn as in some of the practice tapes you'll see something as simple as a twist give a D-lineman a clear shot and flush Sam from the pocket. That said, This unit does have a nice look to it. I'm hoping Fant pans out because him and Mekhi are monsters but idk why, maybe because of the debacles last year, I'm not sold on McGovern yet but he is literally the glue this unit desperately needs. Hopefully they can stay healthy and be what we need for Sam and Bell..... Dominant, Big, Nasty, Bullies... Jetup!
like i said..literally the only position group jet fans care about.Rebuild the unit once every 4 yrs..take acoulple Tackles in RD 1..all is right w the world. Scoring points doesnt matter. Winning games doesnt matter.Just win up front..it ALL starts there. Cant wait for 2024 when we get to rebuild the OL again.Fingers crossed for even sooner
Offensive line doesn’t seem to be as bad so far compared to last year. This is Buffalo mind you, not a slouch of defense.

First quarter of the first game and so far the Oline is a sieve - Sam running for his life again and no holes to run through. I expect them to be better than last year but it's going to take a few games before we see significant improvement. If that doesn't happen, it wouldn't matter if we drafted Jeudy, Lamb, and Ruggs together.
Always love your optimism RT. I might need you to talk me down from the ledge, though. Right now our offensive line just looks offensive. But yeah, no pre season, I'll try to give them time, but it's hard when you've started on the white spirit.
If the OTs are at least doing their job & it’s more the interior.. A.That makes perfect sense bc the interior is so much about communication & playing fast w your hands. Will take some time B.Is an improvement over last yr when all 5 were a complete disaster. Mcgovern will get better,Clarke could be a keeper whp starts next season & we can address the other guard spot in FA/Draft. Im as pessimistic as it gets..but the OL WILL get better this season & is well on its way to being fortified. The rest of the offense? Pass rush? Secondary? Not so much

It looks much better than last years. Sam has had time for the majority of the snaps and Bell looks like he'll be able to bust loose with this oline. So far so good.
