Yep. Every "bad" team on our schedule is looking at the Jets as a potential win.

What other team knows their season is totally shot after week 1?! Jesus, and this was supposed to be the year the team showed progress toward being a contender. Looks like the perpetual rebuild continues.

This team is easily going to start 0-6 with or without Sam at the helm. I wonder if the line of our game will be higher than Miami @ Dallas. We were +18.5 and that was with Siemian.

    I doubt it.

I view him as a figurehead, Adam Gase yes man GM.

  6. Despise Mike Macagnan. Can they re hire him for one day just so we can throw tomatoes at him?

No edge rush, no viable corner & complete disregard for the OL. Went out of his way to draft defense even after draft Darnold.A complete utter idiot who never deserved to be a gm let alone for 4 seasons in NY for a team that hasnt won shit in 50 years.

Thanks to jets ownership for being braindead enough to keep him all this time or simply just not caring about winning.

Which all leads to where we are now. A coach desperately trying to devise a gameplan with a third string QB and no offensive line or true number 1 reviever.

Sad fact is, they are better than the Jets..More talent on both sides of the ball and it showed last night.

He'd have to be truly Machiavellian to pull that off. Org Chart says he has to go thru Chris (green goggles) Johnson.

  12. Same moron who told the press that that the jets “have good talent” while standing next to Mac at the end of last season. An absolute bunch of braindead morons. No leadership. No plan.No clue.

If he did, he would be just as much of a moron as Mac.

If you think Gase is the problem, then you are living up to your 2008 award

We're currently second behind Jax and ahead of Miami in the draft.
    Too early ? :D

I don’t think that far ahead and feel they’ll pull off a win or two in the next 4 games but I’d they don’t, it is a scary thought what will go through Bell’s mind...

Some of us expected a poor start, which is why we’re not losing our minds like a lot of the board is right now. Granted, the situation is worse then anyone could have expected in terms of players being out, but not that much worse in terms of record. The Jets could be at full strength and still come out of the first 6 games at 0-6. Less likely, but still possible. I think I was expecting 2-4, so 0-6 isn’t a massive jump.

Fingers are being pointed in a lot of different directions but the things we thought would be a problem this season are, in fact, problems.

    Terrible OL.
    Poor kicking.
    Bad CB play.

We knew those things going in, and that was before all of the adversity, so why is everyone so shocked at the results?

A lot of people are using the “I’ve been a fan for x amount of years and expect a winner” argument as if that justifies throwing logic out the window. I’m not saying people shouldn’t be frustrated. The Jets have been ruining Sunday’s for years. At the same time, any team would be on the ropes in this situation.

The short answer is that some of the problem is what the last regime left behind, and some of the problem is how that weak personnel is being used now. When you put that together it’s a recipe for a losing season and that shouldn’t really surprise anyone.
