Guys how can we be mad if this team is literally playing like horseshit? We are getting the pitching but absolutely NO HITTING. Its almost like a triple AAA team out there against the Tigers.

The Tigers are going to advance and they should...They havent been all that either, but at least they hit the ball and their pitching has come through.

I also cant hate on Jimmy Leyland the guy looks like a sad dog on the dugout everytime a rally starts for the other team...Not to mention Verlander deserves a ring.

Once we lose either today or game 5...Alot of questions will need to be asked...The main one, HOW THE FUCK CAN WE GET RID OF A-ROD?

    all of the playoffs do

the lineup's performance against the Orioles was an embarrassment.

    OPS for the playoffs:

    Cano .247
    A-Rod .330
    Swisher .426
    Granderson .394
    Martin .560

Rewind to the Baltimore series, and you're talking about your 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 hitters.

Oh, and Chavez is 0 for 14, for a .000 OPS.

Is it too late to suit up Brian Doyle and try and ressurect some of his post-season brilliance from 1978?

Have the Yankees figured out a way to dump A-Rod? Will the Yankees pay A-Rod $114 Million to play for the Marlins? What say ye? Yea or Nea? This is the story, according to Keith Olbermann.

Yankees, Marlins Reportedly Discussing Trade That Would Send A-Rod To Miami

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Tired of watching Alex Rodriguez play in pinstripes, Yankees fans?

There might be relief on the way.

The Yankees have had discussions with the Miami Marlins about shipping Rodriguez to South Florida, Keith Olbermann reported on his MLB.com-affiliated blog.

Olbermann said that sources close to both organizations have confirmed that the Bronx Bombers would pay all — or the majority of — A-Rod’s exorbitant contract, which has five years remaining on it.

New York currently owes the 14-time All-Star $114 million. He will earn approximately $28 million in 2013, $23 million in 2014, $22 million in 2015, $21 million in 2016 and $20 million in 2017.

One scenario, Olbermann reported, would send embattled reliever Heath Bell to the Yankees in the trade for A-Rod. In that case, the Yankees wouldn’t pick up as much of Rodriguez’s salary, but would pick up Bell’s contract.

Bell lost his closer’s role early in the season after signing a three-year, $27 million deal in the winter, and had a very public feud with Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen.

The future Hall of Famer will be 42 years old when his contract expires.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has denied that such a trade has been discussed.

One of the most controversial athletes in all of sports, A-Rod has had a nightmarish 2o12 postseason — both on the field and off. He’s been the recipient of continuous boos at Yankee Stadium since the playoffs began, going 3-for-23 with 12 strikeouts.

He’s also been called out publicly on Twitter by Donald Trump, who said that the three-time American League MVP’s contract should be terminated. In a more embarrassing incident, A-Rod allegedly flirted with 33-year-old Australian bikini model Kyna Treacy during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.

A native of Miami, the 18-year veteran batted .272 with 18 home runs and 57 RBIs for the Yankees in 2012.

If either Cashman or Girardi is back next year I hope the Yankees don't sell a single ticket. They have made a travesty out of this team. They win 95 games with one lineup and then put an A league lineup on the field for the playoffs.

And where are they going to get the money to pay him? They had their usual mess in their brand new stadium this year and it will only be worse next year.

They did put it on the field, and it put up nothing offensively. It's Granderson, Arod, Swisher, Tex, and Cano all not hitting. I mean I know you are supposed to be prepared for everything, but that seems overly bad. Hopefully Cano and Tex get jump started from last night where they both had good at bats and hits.

Who would have thought our two best hitters last night would have been Ichiro and Nunez.

this is an A league lineup?

it would still be an above-average MLB lineup.

worst you got this year was Houston, and they sent out a legit AAA lineup.

the Yankees would have to eat Heath Bell and part of A-Rod's contract obviously

So what? You don't go to the also rans because of slumps..You win or lose with who got you there. If they lose again tonight with back to back shit lineups they I say again if either Girardi or Cashman is there next year I hope they don't sell one ticket all year.
