Granderson's at bats were far worse than fucking A-Rod's.

Get on Granderson, he is fucking pathetic right now. Put the fucking ball in play man.

    Get on Cano too.

when the whole team fails at batting, you need to start looking at the coaches

Someone explain this to me: 2nd & 3rd, 2 out in the bottom of the 8th, score 1-1. How in the world do you NOT pinch hit Ibanez for Swisher? Not only do you put someone up to bat in a key situation who actually has a prayer to deliver a big hit in the playoffs, but you now can sub Ibanez for Swsher and keep him in the game, because he can play the outfield.

    Where am I wrong here?

I'm not defending A-Rod but the guy was injured for a long time. He came back and never got into a rhythm, for that I give him a little slack.

I know the other side of the argument is Tex, who was injured and came back almost fine and Pettitte too. But everyone is different.

A-Rod is clearly late on the FB.

Isn't Nunez on the roster? Shouldn't he see right right ABs?

Short series. Shit happens in them. Move on and hope they win today.

A-Rod and Swisher can go fuck themselves. They pretty much blew this series. Swisher needs to wipe that idiot smile off his face when he makes an out.

But the bleacher creatures get orgasms every time he salutes them from right field! You want to deprive them of that?

Sometimes it's almost more enjoyable when the Yankees lose because I get to watch/hear/read ridiculous meltdowns.

bottom of the 12th, Jeter grounder up the middle and the O's reliever ducks to get out of the way instead of fielding the ball, resulting in a single. :breakdance:

Do you remember Alio the Fool? Holy shit, he'd start in with the "no heart" "nobody cares" bullshit and work himself up to where he needed medication.

that was ugly last night, i hate wasting great pitching like that. the yanks or any team can't go far on the long ball only, hitting with RISP has been a problem all year, it showed last night.
CC has to do it by himself i guess.

Chavez playing third. A-Rod on the bench.

Chavez against righties is probably a better option than A-Rod anyway.

    Jeter
    Ichiro
    Cano
    Teixeira
    Ibanez
    Swisher
    Granderson
    Martin
    Chavez

best lineup of the series for the Yankees, IMO.

    what's the alternative? With A-Rod there's a good alternative.

Gardner can play the outfield but evidently Girardi doesn't want him hitting, let alone starting.

I miss that guy. He was a piece of work.

I love sports. I love rooting for my teams. During the games, it can feel like I'm living and dying with each momentum swing. But it doesn't carry over. In the end, it's not hard for me to remember that it's a game, nothing more.

That said, CC better pitch a shutout tonight or that fat fuck can go jump in a pool filled with broken glass and rubbing alcohol.
