1-0 Rays, keep piling on some runs tampa. I hope the Yanks can avoid another pressure cooker tonight and just win comfortably, there will be enough of those coming anyway with the post season here. Really don't want to go down to baltimore for a one gamer, to potentially set up another one gamer.

Robbie Cano passes Bobby Murcer on the all time Yankee HR list.

Hold on. If this lead holds... the Yankees play @ the wild card team? How does that make sense? Since they clinch home field advantage.

Bobby V knows Japanese well. That's how he managed there.

Yankees were -320 to win tonight, an even bigger favorite than they were with CC.

So the Yankees host the wild card winner, I guess, while Detroit takes on Oakland.

there's 3 of the 5 home runs in the books.
    Cano's 9 game hitting streak consists of 9 multi-hit games, he's 23 for 38, a 605 average, 10 extra base hits, and 12 runs batted in.
stay hot Robbie, gonna need you big time now.

he's only 4 hits shy of another 200 plus hit season, i don't know a player that wouldn't be happy with 196 though. He was batting 294 a week ago, he's back up to 313 now,
that's so hard to do after having as many at bats as they have had coming into this last game.
