And "NEVER" will include this year, regardless of where the Yankees finish. You realize the Yankees never had a ten game lead after August, right? Their lead on September 1st was three games. They didn't even have a ten game lead after July. Their lead on August 1st was 6.5 games. The last time the Yankees had a ten game lead was July 18th.
