Shame on Tampa & Rays fans. Look at all those empty seats.

When are Nova and Andy due back?

I'm a little worried, but still confident. The Yankees are in a big slump, definitely think they break out of it in time.

Robinson with a 2 run homer in the first in a bid to make up for yesterday.
unfortunately the rays have control right now, 5-2 in the 5th. fuck!!

man oh man, the Orioles are thoroughly bashing the Jays 12-0 in the 8th.
Looks like a tie is in the books after today.
it is imperative that the yanks get a win tomorrow on getaway day out of tampa
before they roll into baltimore for 4 more big games. then come the sox, who would
love to make things hard on the yanks, and then tampa again i think. rough sailing.
this is hard to watch, given they are the only team i've ever been able to count on for some joy and victory. only 4 hits tonight so far. i know the lineup isn't full but they really aren't hitting, and haven't all year as far as with men on base goes.
i'm eye poppingly amazed at this fallout. 10 games on july 18th.
win tomorrow guys, and carry it over into baltimore and stick it to them!!

And "NEVER" will include this year, regardless of where the Yankees finish.

You realize the Yankees never had a ten game lead after August, right? Their lead on September 1st was three games.

They didn't even have a ten game lead after July. Their lead on August 1st was 6.5 games.

The last time the Yankees had a ten game lead was July 18th.

what a monster swing tomorrow's game holds. either swept and possibly one game out, or win with a possible 1 game lead again, and hopefully some momentum and urgency
for 4 big ones in Baltimore. i'm gonna call a loss tomorrow and then they go into baltimore and take 3 of 4 and retake first. a h fuck it, sweep baby!! gonna sweep the O's. c'mon Pinstripes! turn it on now.

You can pick apart the details of what I said all you want but it doesn't change the fact that this is probably the biggest collapse in Yankee history. I invite you to find one that is worse. The Yankees are usually overcoming big deficits not losing big leads.

how about hal steinbrenner's quote today- "it's frustrating"
really? almost as frustrating as Hal and friends in the front office.
I don't need to spout about Girardi, i've thought he has not been a good manager from the beginning.

From Hal that is impressive..maybe he is actually watching for once in his life..I can only hope if the Yankees don't make the playoffs that Cashman and Girardi suffer the same fate as Francona and Epstein did last year.

Jesus H Christ, the season still has plenty of games left. I swear, it's like you prefer the Yankees to lose. What a miserable person you must be.

Even from a clown like you that is ridiculous..if I wanted them to lose I wouldn't be so pissed off that they are losing, would I?

The word "like" indicates a simile, not a literal belief, but boy, you sure seem more vocal when things aren't going well. Seriously. When did you show up in this thread? When they started playing shitty.

It's hilarious. The Yankees have been a very successful team during cashman's tenure and you've done nothing but call for his head. It must drive you crazy to be so wrong all the time. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's why it seems like you're rooting for them to lose -- so your complaints about him don't seem so damned insane. Bad news for you, though... even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.

man does this game suck so far. not over by a long shot, and i
know there's no clock in the sport, but it's getting fuckin' late boys, how about a rally
here in the 7th, get a couple of runs back to give yourselves a chance.
6-1 O's , top 7, and poor Joba got pummeled again. His 1st inning was good,
and then he got jackrolled for a home run, c'mon Yanks, let's see a little urgency
    here , c'mon!!
