Great game, Pettitte. Having you back in uniform is awesome. Great day to be a baseball fan. GO YANKEES

(I wanted to do this with the new username but, alas it's yet to be activated... Andy's worth the exception, especially now with Mo out for the year.)

So what is VandyPettitte about? You aren't allowed two accounts.

Their offense is, at least. 3 for their last 41 with runners in scoring position. That's gross.

Too bad Nova couldn't get the job done. The Yankees did attempt a comeback but it was not to be. Hopefully, the Yankees can win the series later today.

Shutout by Royals 6-0. While Jeter hit the ball hard lining out repeatedly (couldn't buy a hit), Swisher summed up the evening, looking totally lost at the plate. Empty stadium, rain, just dead. Yanks 0-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

Since the Yankees are in danger of heading to last place, is it early to push the panic button?

The calendar says its too early but our lack of pitching, now lack of bullpen depth, Tex has AIDS, Arod is certainly being on the down side of his career andn plenty more things says it might not be too early

I haven't seen Yankees in the last place in May before. Hard to look. This might be Girardi's last season IMO

Hughes is good when he's not obsessing over that god damn cutter. Just scrap that pitch all together and he'll fine.
