The problem with this board is fans who became a fan say in the 90s or even 00s do not care one iota of the 43 years of misery some of us have been thru. They also do not want to hear that we have won NOTHING for the last 43 years. Most of the posters here are in there 20s or younger so they have all those years in front of them to see a SB win which they PRESUME will occur in there lifetime :sad:

What was woody supposed to do is my question. Rex has never had a losing record in his first 3 seasons. He's also taken this team to two AFC Championship games. Woody is sticking with Rex because he knows Rex is a great coach and deserves a fair shot at proving himself, as well as doing whatever it takes to win a SB. No one is saying Rex and Tanny did a great job this year. But they have done more good than bad and they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

A little fact: Over the last 3 teams the New York Jets are the ONLY team in the NFL to reach two conference title games. Not NE, GB, NO, Pitt, Indy- Only the NEW YORK JETS. Did we finish the job? Nope and that is frustrating but we played for the right to go to the SB twice in the last 3 years- the ONLY team among 31 other teams to do that. yes we had a bad year and the locker room stuff is disturbing but would it have made people feel better if we founf out all the players loved each other and we were still just 8-8?

How dare you this is getting intense, I've criticized Sanchez/Rex/Tanny for this year and lack of foresight. but calling for all heads to roll for one bad season out of the last 3. they all deserve another shot. but anything resembling last year and you hit the reset button for sure.
I think both Rex and Tanny got ahead of themselves this past offseason. With the Nnamdi chasing and all. I think they took a lot of players for granted. But im hoping they learned their lesson. Tanny has selected some great players for this team but he needs to focus on drafting well rather than trading away picks for players.
